El Chino Mex — Restaurant in Indianapolis

El Chino Mex, place appears closed from the outside. Upon entering, there's a lingering smell of old grease. After we seated ourselves, the staff took several minutes to attend to us and bring our drinks, but they were very courteous and friendly. There was a Chinese menu displayed on the wall, and another menu on the table featuring both Mexican and Chinese dishes. They had a section for lunch specials, though not many photos were provided. The food took a while to arrive.

On a scale of 1-10, I would rate it a 5. We ordered tacos with rice and beans from the lunch menu, and they had a good flavor, especially considering the super economical prices. The TS Chicken, which came with mixed noodles and vegetables, had a tasty broth. However, the issue arose when, for the remainder of the day, my stomach felt constipated and uneasy. I’m very disappointed in these people when I first move this way they were very delicious I love they tacos, the customer service and everything. But lately the steak tacos been trash not steam hot it’s like they warm up in microwave’ and have a new cook or something then when I tell the lady she get a attitude. look I don’t eat out often when I do I need my food to be satisfaction to my needs. . So I was not happy to inform her that I’m not happy I want my money back she told me. I can not come back. I read the review and was attracted by the food and the price. So I decided to give it a try. After I looked at the updated menu in the restaurant, I was pretty shocked by the new prices. Inflation is terrible these days, and, understandably, the price is rising everywhere, but a 50-75% raise is a lot!! Especially when I was expecting the menu price posted online but was given a different price at the restaurant, and I felt cheated. That is why I gave this rating for this visit.
