Gallagher's Pub & Eatery — Restaurant in Indianapolis

BEWARE!! My party of three entered this establishment a few months for my 25th birthday in hopes of good times and drinks. We had been drinking beforehand, and decided to walk to this local bar located across the street from where we live. When we came into the establishment we ordered 3 waters and 2 drinks from our male server, who quickly left, seemingly to fulfill our request. We put 20$ in the juke box because our plan was to end our evening there and then walk home. After we played our music the server came back and informed my party of three, that he was only going to serve 1 of us, not all three of us. Apparently due to us coming into the bar drunk. (Like everyone entering a bar on a Saturday night) we were non disruptive and polite to our server, and if we were that intoxicated we would not have been able to walk the half mile to get to the bar in the first place. We had a safe plan to get home, one member of our party was relatively sober and was just trying to make sure I had a good time for my birthday. We were severely disappointed by the non-service we received and will not be returning. I encourage anyone who is thinking about entering this bar to rethink your decision, you very well may be disappointed as we were.

We should not have been denied service last night, and after the experience we had I will be informing everyone that I know of my experience with Gallaghers Pub. I have been a bartender, and a cocktail waitress for the better part of my career and the reason we cut people off at the bar is because the bar doesn't want the liability of it patrons if they are too drunk to get home safely (too drunk to drive). Before I have ever cut anyone off, my first question is always "how are you getting home tonight", if the answer is walking or calling a cab, as long as they don't fall asleep at the bar that person is not denied service. Heck, I've even called the cab for my paying customers, but thats not what happened at Gallaghers Pub. Thanks for ruining...

We have not been here for over a year due to our last experience was terrible. Service was awful and it took well over an hour for our food. So, we thought we would try it again this evening. Big mistake! We set on the family side with our daughter, son in-law and granddaughter. There was only one other family on the family side and they had already received their food. 45 minutes went by the waitress comes to our table and says there was a mishap with our ticket they will get our food in right away. Once again it took over an hour to receive our food! No one came to check on us or ask if we wanted refills in the meantime. When it came time to pay the bill no discount was even offered. Needless to say a place we use to love to come to when our girls were in school at St. Jude and Roncalli we will NEVER be back and will NEVER...

Hole in the wall definitely describes this place... horrible experience... there was only 1 server in the whole place bar and family dinning... took 10 mins to get drinks, 45 mins to get our food and we just order pizza wings and mozzarella sticks then the server told us they dropped my sister's bbq wings andtold her that it would be another 20mins ( on wing night) food was typical bar food... pretty much a waste of 54 bucks.. I won't be back... oh and if you're looking for employees you should post signs on front window not on bathroom...
