I'm not sure who exactly is to blame here but I believe it falls solely on the establishment and the managers lack to try and make my order right. On January 11th at 5:35 pm.I ordered four mcafee drinks thru the mobile app. When we arrived at the second window we were told to park because the machine had just started cleaning and it would be 8 min. We parked for 15 min until a worker finally let us know that the machine had not finished cleaning and if we wanted to switch it for something else. However then immediately after suggested we get a full refund and just start a new order from scratch. She asked me to follow her inside to complete the process with the manager. Once inside the manager told the employee to let me know I had to request the refund thru the app. When I asked her how come the manager couldn't key in the order in the pos and just complete the transaction so I could be on my way,the manger Eleanor came out picked up her arms and told me.if I knew how to do it to show her because she had no way of doing it. Cameras can be checked at that time and it will show her come towards the front and raise her arms. Point blank is she did nothing to offer to just fix it and make it right for the customer. The app only gave the option to contact thru email and nothing was going to be resolved right then and there.When my husband then asked if we could just switch for regular coffees and something else because we just wanted to leave already.30 min waiting and the manager refused. She insisted I request a refund thru the app and then she would change the order. Just Wow.!! I worked for mcdonald's for 8 years as a manager and we used to have a golden promise to make it right for the customer. This was definitely not gold standard at all. From the way to the manager was dressed and how she confronted me makes me question this whole establishment. she was not professional at all and didn't seem to have common knowledge on how to run the (POS) point of sale. Read moreToday at lunch I went to McDonald’s for lunch. I got one order 10 piece chicken nuggets. When I get back to work I get a bank alert and they charged me 3 times for one order. I called my bank to stop two of the charges and they told me to call McDonals to see if they can refund it because I’ll get charged to stop payment. I called McDonald’s and spoke with the shift manager Arieuna Brown. She argued with me telling me that there is no way at all that they could have charged me 3 times and there is nothing she will/can do to help. That she doesn’t know what I’m trying to pull but they won’t refund me. Told her I can bring up my bank statement and the receipt to show her and she said I could come up there but she doesn’t have time for my games and I’m not getting anything from them so I should take my loss and just “get over it”. I asked if I could get the name of the GM and asked when he’ll be there she said his name is Bob and he won’t “deal with my foolishness”. I told her that I have proof on my bank statement that this card was ran more than once and that they can pull the orders to see that there had to have been an issue with their card reader or something for my card to get ran 3 times. 20 minutes in the drive through, another 15 minutes waiting in spot #2. My Sprite had zero flavor, and when the thin black girl with braids finally brought my food out, I gave her the bad Sprite and asked if she could please bring me a new drink. Another 10 minutes goes by and she comes back out with another person’s food and no drink. When I hollered, “Hello? Can I have my drink please?” She turned her back on me and stomped away, completely ignoring me like a petulant child. Eventually, I watched her come back out of the restaurant with a Sprite in hand, then she just stops and looks around like she has no idea where she is and walks back inside? At this point I was furious, so I backed my car up and hollered at the person in the second drive-through window to please have someone bring my drink out so I can finally just leave! I waited about 10 minutes more after that and just gave up. This restaurant needs to stop hiring trash people who hate their job and make it very apparent they don’t want to be there.
