Ate here for the first time and really loved the food! The flavors were spectacular. Started with a surprise of garlic bread, made with real roasted garlic. We ordered the arepas with carne mechada (shredded beef) and domino (black beans and cheese), accompanied by empanadas de queso. They all exceed our expectations. Take that from a couple that regularly finds the Venezuelan restaurants wherever we travel.
The service staff were very friendly and attentive. They were welcoming, promptly took our order, and checked in the right amount to refill our water and ask if we needed snytjing. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for service is because some aspects of the restaurant could be improved (and I say this with the best of intentions): 1) even though we got 'finger food' we would have liked to have received silverware to finish the mess (impossible to eat any arepa without some food falling out!), and 2) we got guasacaca (a Venezuelan sauce) only after requesting it.

When I got home (I live 6 minutes from the establishment) I opened the boxes and only the tequeños on top were hot and the rest were cold! yes sir! cold!
