ALDI — Local services in Indianapolis

As a faithful Aldi's shopper, I visited Aldi's on Lafayette Rd on 6/19/2019, purchased my groceries and set off for home. Upon my arrival home I discovered that I didn't have my eggs($0.59 the day i bought them). I checked my receipt and the eggs were on there. I returned to the store 6/20, to see about picking up the eggs I didn't get. I forgot my receipt, but anytime I've had a problem or issue, Aldis was very accomodating. NOT THIS TIME. The young AA female manager said they "checked the video 3x and there were no eggs." I said I would go home and get the receipt because I know I bought eggs. I drove home, got the receipt and drove back to the store(mind you, all this for .59 eggs). Upon arriving back at the store, the manager approached and i explained that #1 Im not a thief or a con and #2 Im not a liar. My receipt shows that eggs were scanned. She then stated that "they were voided. So you didn't buy eggs. We checked the video 3 times and there were no eggs." I assured her that I bought eggs because I checked them when I took them out of the fridge. My question to her was, how were eggs scanned AND voided if I didnt have eggs on the belt? Her response was "she must have hit a wrong button and then voided it." My response was "Oh, and it just happened to be the wrong button for EGGS! Everything that goes across that scanner, shows it was scanned on the receipt. Then she voided it...and it shows that...where'd the eggs go??" She scanned the peppers I bought and voided them too, but somehow, I still made it home with those...BUT NOT THE EGGS?? She once again said there was nothing she could do because the video showed no eggs. Again, this is over .59 EGGS!! So long story short, i had to REPURCHASE EGGS that I know I bought the day before. Im angry and feel that I was basically being told I was lying because THE VIDEO, didn't show eggs. I had it on paper!! June 20, 2019 will be the last day I shop at Aldi's. Losing a customer...

If you enjoy fresh produce and being accused of stealing .59cents worth of dairy products, then this is the store for you! My wife went shopping yesterday at this location. She purchased more $60.00 worth of groceries on her most recent visit. The dozen of eggs that she purchased was missing. No problem, we figured that we could pick this item on the way home, today. WRONG. My wife was told that the security video had been viewed several times, and there was no proof of purchase on the footage. The receipt indicates that the purchase was indeed made, then it was voided by the cashier. When my wife presented her receipt, she was told that there was nothing that could be done because the item had been voided. There is another item that Brittany, the cashier rang up and voided. We simply believe that Brittany may have double scanned these items, realized her mistake and corrected the error by removing the extra item with a void. My wife speaks to a manager today, points out the simple mistake and simply wishes to acquire the missed item and come home for the day. She was treated unjustly and rudely! This is unacceptable. Again, She was told that the CCTV video footage didn't show this part of the purchase. Question, how did the product show up on the receipt twice? The other item that showed twice on the sales bill was corrected. My wife was informed that Brittany may have pressed the wrong keys on different occassions. Needless to say, we won't shop here EVER again. Consumer BEWARE... Double check your purchased items and your receipts for errors, or you may lose money and...

on february 23rd i walked in here at 8:03 doors were unlocked so i walked in cashier told me that they were closed i told her that id be quick all i needed was a gallon of milk she had a customer still with plenty of stuff on belt by the time she would of been done i would of been back at belt n paid just my gallon of milk but no that wasn't the case the cashier kept telling me they were closed they were closed and that i could go grab the milk but she wasn't going to ring me up i understand she might have more important things to do since you know cashing out a milk might take her a whole night but since she kept giving me an attitude about her being closed and stuff i walked out and took my shopping elsewhere if she would of been nice about it atleast i would of understood but i guess don't walk in here 3 mins after 8 because service was horrible...
