Horrible experience. I wish I could put no stars in this review. I've been twice in the past month and both times, the coffee was not up to the Starbucks' standards, neither in the making, nor in the taste. The last time we stopped there, was on Sunday September 17th, around 10am. There were three people working and they had a line of ten customers waiting for their orders ahead of us. One girl at the cash register getting orders (which is the only thing she was doing), a girl in front of the coffee machine and a lady helping with whatever she could, although it seemed she was new because she was a bit lost. But I just want to point out the girl at the coffee machine, because at the end of the day, she is the one who made our nasty coffees. First of all, she made it very clear with her attitude that she was in a very bad mood and that she would rather be somewhere else. It is not the customer's fault if you would rather be in bed on a Sunday morning, so suck it up buttercup. Second, she had the very bad habit of holding the cups from the opening, putting her nasty fingers (I will explain why nasty a bit later) inside the cup, where the liquid was going to be. I guess it is extremely difficult to put those empty cold cups under the coffee machine holding them from somewhere else, that somebody would need to put their fingers inside the cup for that purpose. And last but not least, she was wearing a pair of those very saggy pants that were exposing half of her underwear (looked like men's boxers), and of course, because the pants were saggy, every time she would move, they would fall a bit further down and she felt the urge of putting her hands and her fingers insider her pants (sometimes around her hips, sometimes around her butt) and pull them up. Those same finger that afterwards she kept putting in everybody's cups. Nasty to say the least. I will never, ever again, if she is there, stop for a coffee. And this is the Starbucks that is closer to the gates, passed the TSA...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is not the first time. Every time I attempt to get a drink at Starbucks they are unable to get my drink within 5 minutes, 10, 15 and like today, I waited 20 minutes. The crew was cheating, talking and not working the entire time as 15 plus customers waited. I had to leave to make my flight. I asked for my drink but no one could hear me over them chatting and talking about their day. I had to whistle to get anyoneās attention. I asked if I could get my drink and the sharply and rudely replied they only make drinks as they come. Obviously! Then after trying to correct me they then asked my name. They said it was the cup in their hand. It was not, I could read the name on the cup. Plus they were holding a hot drink paper cup, I ordered a cold drink. I ask that they be mindful of all the customers they have waiting 15-20 mins for a drink as we are all trying to make our flights. The manager came out yelling at me to tell me not to talk to her employees like that. I asked for my money back they continued to argue with me telling me I was wrong and that I only had been standing for a few minutes as customers were upset as they all were waiting extending time to get their orders. The employees were laughing and acting as if I was crazy for wanting my order faster than 20mins. The employees were on their cell phones talking the entire time as I and many others waited for their orders. The manager yelling at me because I just wanted my drink and or my refund I left because of the extreme unprofessional behavior of the manager and the crew.
I never got my drink or a refund. Indianapolis is notorious for rude and bad service, this is another shinning example of the hospitality of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe caramel macchiato was yummy. Good job. Did one thing right. The management and service of this Starbucks is terrible. If I could give 0 stars I would. First, they do not accept any of the meal vouchers that the airport/Delta provides. Being in an airport, thereās also a long line - which I get. The issue is that they had about 5 staff in front and were unable to get out orders and communicate issues. People would wait for 5-10, 15-20 minutes only to find out they are out of something in their order. At 9:30 AM. I waited 15 minutes on a cake pop and I didnāt get it. The cashier told me it āis being madeā when I ordered, however he and the staff never bothered to let me know what was happening with it, even after we respectfully asked about it after waiting 10 and 15 minutes. I still donāt know what was going on - if they had any cake pops, if they were being made from scratch, or what. I tried to just change to one available cake pop that was cheaper price or just get a refund ⦠and despite having 5 staff out front they responded with āwe would need to call a manager to help.ā This Starbucks management is terrible. Employees were nice if you spoke to them, but non communicative and no one seemed to understand what was going on. One of the employees explicitly told me, āI donāt know whatās going on over thereā and waved it off. I am baffled on everything that happened with my order and other peopleās that I was witnessing, while they had 5 or more...
