By far the best place for coffee in our area (and beyond, in my opinion). The owners are so kind and make you feel like theyâve known you forever. I always love a hole in the wall place with owners who are actually involved in the business! All of the baristas are friendly â this place is sure to put you in a good mood, even if youâre just grabbing a drink to go. My 14 y/o daughter often makes my coffee run for me, and she always comes out smiling, having good things to say. I have a specialty drink I order - a bit of a complex breve lol - and from day one theyâve made it spot on! Iâve had the pleasure of dining in with my mom a couple of times and we had hoped to make it a once a week outing, but life tends to get in the way. 10/10 recommend this place for Bible studies, studying or just a quick (or long - they wonât kick you out) meet up for a chat. I love how spacious it is and the atmosphere is so cozy! Lastly, Iâm heavily impressed by how clean the ingredients are, and that they make so much in-house, including the pastries (not getting any of that at your mainstream spots). Thank you for providing everything most could want in a coffee shop, and a variety of quality drinks and snacks that I can guilt free give...
Read moreI went in expecting a hole in the wall coffee shop with all the standard coffee drinks, industrial style seating and a get-in-get-out sort of atmosphere. But I was compelled to stay a while.
This is a traditional coffee shop with lots of charm. As you walk in you are greeted with a relaxed atmosphere, background music at just the right volume to fuel lively conversation or reading, and if you want, there's a cozy fireplace area with couches. A loft area is available if you want seating by yourself or with a friend or two. There are plenty of small tables, too, if you want to sit and have coffee alone while catching up with a book.
The menu had plenty of options from smoothies, teas and coffee and espresso drinks. I ordered a cafe au lait, a cranberry almond scone and a snack bag of peanuts. All options are very reasonably priced. (Actually, the franchise coffee shop with the siren logo charges more for their version of the same drink.)
My order was served quickly, and that cafe au lait really hit the spot. I'm going to tell everyone about this great new spot...
Read moreVisited Mocha's Mug for the first time today, and it was an absolute delight! The ambiance is charming, with a cozy sitting area upstairs that I can't wait to explore further.
I opted for a Caramel Macchiato with an extra shot of espresso and paired it with a delectable chocolate chip scone. The staff was not only incredibly pleasant but also took the time to answer all of my questions, which I truly appreciated.
I heard that their famous cinnamon buns are available from Thursday to Saturday, but you better get there early because they tend to sell out quickly! I'm already planning my next visit just to try those.
As for my drink, it was perfection in a cup, and the fact that they offer sugar-free vanilla syrup made it even better. Yes, I may have indulged in the scone and blown my sugar intake for the day, but let me tell you, it was absolutely worth it.
Mocha's Mug is conveniently located close to my workplace, and I can already see it becoming my regular go-to spot. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try. A solid...
