Can not for the life of me understand how anyone could give 4 or 5 stars . The burger was average to small it says 6 oz. maybe before it's thawed . Paid $4.25 to deluxe it ( Fries & coleslaw ). The fries didn't seem at all fresh. The slaw was horrible like soup in a little plastic to go cup. Our not so cold 16 oz drafts beers came filled an inch from the top, so more like a 14.5 oz beer for ( near as we could figure ) $4 . We don't know because our bill came with just a total figure not one itemized thing on it. Service was just that the girl took our order delivered our food never came back . Mid week mid day not that busy. This used to be pretty good place ,but not anymore .They have a view from the parking lot woo woo . There are so many better places in the area to get a brew & burger Think Hamlin Pub or...

Our waitress then came back and said that the place is very busy and that the kitchen was backed up and that we weren't the only one waiting...Um hello... obviously they need more help. I can understand being busy but it should NOT take an hour and an a half to get chili and cheese sticks. When we did finally get our food the hamburgers were gross ( used to be the best ones around) and the French fries were soggy. We came from the Port Huron area, and we will...
Read moreQuite possibly the best burger I have had! Gigantic, delicious patty (I guess they get their beef from Zimmerman's in Marine City, and have done so for the last 44 years, according to the owner), on a sesame seed bun sized to match. Lettuce, pickle slices, onion, tomato ... really delicious!
The fries were really good - crispy and not greasy at all! Accompanied by a frosty Labatts Light - mmm mmm MMMMM!
Better yet, they have outdoor picnic table seating right on Anchor Bay. The view is lovely and the other customers were congenial. It was great conversing out there by the water as we chowed down on our Raft Burgers.
I am one of those people who values quality over "fancy". This place is just that- quality food served with pride in a quality, naturalistic, waterfront...
