I don't generally leave bad reviews but tonight's visit to Mr Ts warrants it. My daughter and I walked in at 6:26pm on a Friday night. I have worked in the restaurant industry most of my adult life. I understand Fridays are busy. We were fairly surprised to walk into a couple empty tables and booths. My daughter chose a booth in the corner and the waiting started. Another couple walked in at the exact same time as us and were promptly presented menus and a drink order taken. It took 10 minutes for a waitress to even acknowledge that we were sitting in her section. Whatever, no big deal, it's busy. She brought menus and came back with our drinks within a reasonable amount of time but that's the last she ever came to our table. Finally after about a half hour a different waitress must have noticed me looking around and that the menus were still on our table so she came and took our order. At about 7:20 two men came in that seemed to be "regulars" and sat at the table right next to us. It was about this time that I realized everyone else that came in when we did were already finished eating and getting ready to leave. Still fine, we will wait. Until at 7:40 those two men who had just come in 20 minutes ago were served. I finally went up to the counter to ask what the problem seemed to be. Our waitress still wouldn't come talk to me and no one seemed to know why our ticket still hadn't been cooked. At this point we decided to leave. Never again Mr Ts, never again. Just because you don't have any competition in town it does not mean you can perform at bare minimum and expect people to accept it. I will never be back. This is not how you run a restaurant. I'm very disappointed. And don't worry, I've already told at least a dozen people how tonight went and I'll...
Read moreFood was ok, but for the price i expected more. Me and my husb had to share a menu, he ordered the "paul bunyon" for $15.99, consisted of hashbrown( we both asked for fried onions to be added with them, and unfortunately they were nonexistent, one bite i thought i tasted onion but was more like what u would taste with powdered onion?) They were obviously baked potatoes shredded which is ok, but they were just warmed tbrough, not a hint of crispness about them, he didn't even finish them. 2 slices of somewhat small sized bacon, tasted ok though, 2 links of sausage (the kind that are pre cooked), and 4 slices of sourdough bread. Where i ordered the sunrise for $5, consisted of 1 egg, 2 slices bacon OR sausage and toast. Had to add hashbrowns for another $2.something and change and 2 cups of coffee. She brings our breakfast, hands us some little salt and pepper packets, a little plastic dish of ketchup(the kind u get ketchup in) and if u declined she took back, then asked us what type of jelly we would like, we each got two packets(the same little tubs all restaurants have) that was a new experience for us, normally they are just put on each table...oh and also if u wanted peanut butter it was .25cents extra. Went to pay and bill (sticker shock) was $27.03. Unfortunately we won't be coming back, way to pricey for a mediocre breakfast. Hope you farr better if you...
Read moreThere are not many restaurants open in the evening in Iron River MI but this one is. Food is good but not great. Loved our waitress, did a fantastic job. Atmosphere is low, this place really need updating, even the menus are worn out. If they would update and spend about 20,000 they would have a great place. Menu selection is good have a nice variety to choose from. You can park on side of building or back side but you have to walk around to the front which is facing the Hwy. I would change the door so you come in on the side by the parking lot first. I heard a lot of locals talk about this place that's why I chose to go there. Locals like this place, but I'm sure it's because restaurants are far and...
