I would just like to start by saying i have a problem, I am pizza addict. I'm doing a 10 step program, and like most, the first step is admitting you have a problem. I've been a user for about 27 years now (don't judge me!) and its been a rough ride. I have had my ups and downs (and i mean downs! cough cough Pizza Hut thin crust) and its normally not hard for me stay clean, but when i walk in the door of Riverside, smell the wonderful thin crust getting crispy and the sweet sauce worming under the perfect amount of top quality cheese, I start to have flashbacks of the small easy to eat slices pass through my lips and taste the best pizza on earth. I should mention that i am qualified to say that. I lived in Italy for 2 years and traveled all over Europe trying to find something better then Riverside. Well that, my friends, is like looking for a Unicorn that can play the trumpet while riding a uni-cycle. Just doesn't exist. Matter-a-fact, i didn't even find any close. I would like to say that i will stay clean (that's step 6) but i will not lie to you, I'm going up fourth of July weekend and I will become a user again. I hope to see...
Read moreCash only with poor signange warning you. I did not see the sign when I arrived as someone was leaving and the door was already opened. I had to is their atm, with a service fee, to pay my $22 bill. The fee overdrew my account and, since you can't take singles out of the atm, I had to leave a tip of about 20 cents... I was planning to use my company card to pay for my meal. I then left, found an ATM that doesn't charge stupid fees, and returned after securing additional cash for the tip. I wasn't going to short the server because the owner hasn't caught up with the 20th century, let alone the 21st century.
The wings were not very good.
The pizza was alright. I appreciated the crust, and found the really small slice sizes to be unique.
They don't have free refills, which is another huge mark against them. Way to encourage drunk driving when the DD would have to spend nearly as much on pop as the guys buying beer. "Screw that, I'll take a beer" is what they'll say.
The server was engaged with a repeat customer, who she seemed to have a found...
Read moreI’m not usually one to leave reviews unless I’m super impressed or terribly disappointed. Unfortunately, tonight’s experience with Riverside will most likely be our last. I placed an order for a large 1/2 plain cheese, 1/2 sausage at 5:40. I was told 30 minutes. Based on previous experience, we figured it would be a little longer so we showed up approximately 40 minutes later. When we arrived we were told it would be another 40 minutes, which was insane to me. The reason given was that the kitchen fell behind. A bit of a head scratcher but whatever, we left and my husband went back slightly less than 40 minutes later and brought home the most disgusting, rock-hard, solidified cheese-covered circle of garbage. We honestly couldn’t eat 1/2 of it. It was quite evident that it had been done and sitting there for the better part of that 40 minutes. So terribly disappointing. We feel that the quality has been deteriorating over the last couple years but this was shockingly bad. So EIGHTY MINUTES after the order was placed, we were still left pretty...
