I haven't been to this Denny's in around two years and I recall that being a good visit. Unfortunately this was not. From our order of four burgers two can out with the won't buns and ingredients. Sent back to correct the order it came out with the proper buns but still missing ingredients such as the mushrooms, pickles and the bourbon sauce. This time they brought out the pickles and mushrooms on a side plate, still no bourbon sauce for a specific bourbon burger. So a third time going back to get the sauce. This is now at least ten minutes after the dishes were brought out so now semi cold food. On top of the the burgers, all four really were not very good, and while they sounded good do not get the cheese tots for an additional$0.79 they only give six. Better to keep the normal fries that come with the plates. Overall it was a very disappointing dinner. Given not many places are opened at 11:30 pm but we would have been better to just hit a drive through. I think if we go to Denny's again we will stick to breakfast items. They usually are better quality. PS. I do want to say the while the food was a disappointment the management did remove the cost of two of the burgers from the bill. This action still is what saves for customer service and to why I still am giving three stars. This was a busier evening with more people that I would have expected at the hour. It seemed they were getting a decent about of people coming over after the five points amphitheater with Lindsay Sterling and Evenesce. To bad we didn't go see...
Read moreThe food is relatively cheap, but you certainly get what you paid for. It's not bad by any means, but this is definitely a comfort bite for a decent price and not a place people looking for high quality food should go. If you have a tighter budget than what most places in the area for, but you're also craving breakfast food (which tends to be more expensive than usual for big names like this), then this isn't a bad spot.
Compared to other food 24h breakfast places, Dennys is cheaper than Norms and IHOP in terms of dollar per volume of food. But the quality isn't quite there; The food is still fair/decent for its by all means, but IHOP and Norms will give food that tastes better and contains more flavor.
Looking for a breakfast place open late but not willing to spend as much as I usual do at breakfast places (an absurd amount), this wasn't a bad choice at all in terms of flavor. The service... left more to be desired, but hilariously it was actually better than the IHOP and Norms that I usually frequent in the area. Perhaps it's a bad late night service breakfast trend.
I'm glad i gave this place a chance, but if I'm ever feeling to get more tasty and flavorful food, I'd go to IHOP. The trade-off is that IHOP doesn't get me full like Dennys does, so I spend a ridiculous amount every time I visit. I spend 20 bucks here when last night at IHOP I spent double that amount...
Read moreIf you're looking for a hearty breakfast that won't disappoint, Denny's is a great choice. One of the standout items on the menu is the Fried Cheese Melt, which is made with four fried mozzarella sticks and melted American cheese grilled between two slices of sourdough bread. The dish is served with a side of French fries and a side of marinara sauce, which pairs perfectly with the cheesy goodness of the sandwich.
One of the things that sets this Denny's apart from others is the hospitality of the staff. From the moment we walked in, we felt special and well taken care of. The staff was polite, patient, and efficient, bringing our food out quickly and making sure we had everything we needed.
One thing to be aware of is the "no turn red sign" off the Sand Canyon, but don't let that deter you from visiting this Denny's. In fact, it's worth noting next door restaurant called Knowlwood the food mediocre even the breakfast the best choice is Denny’s
Overall, this Denny's shines when it comes to customer service and quality food. The staff clearly values the satisfaction of their customers, and it shows in every aspect of the dining experience. If you're looking for a satisfying breakfast that won't break the bank, Denny's is definitely...
