One of the most prominent review said “not authentic Japanese food” — maybe it was complimenting their menu, but I thought it may not be taken as such. So, I decided to write a review. As a first generation Japanese, I would be very happy to call their dishes “authentic Japanese.” I ordered a grilled beef salad without teriyaki sauce. The meat was marinated and the dressing was pleasantly light and refreshing, so it was perfect for what I was craving for. Read moreThis is a solid lunch place. Just set your expectations. The amount of food you get here for a plate meal is pretty good. Even the bowls are a good size. I enjoy the value of the place. My recommendation is the spicy chicken, which is a spicy sesame based sauce. Food aside, the staff is nice and friendly and the line moves fast. I didn't give it 5 stars as eating in is a but of a task. The waiting area vs seating is tight, so ppl waiting for takeout will take tables. Read moreThis is a wonderful place to enjoy healthy food. You can choose from bowls, plates, combos, rolls, sushi and rolls, udon, and yaki udon, salads, or sides. The portions here are quite generous, the rolls are fresh, and the meat is tender.
