Linâs Kitchen is a carry-out Chinese food gem thatâll make your taste buds sing and your heart swell! This family-owned spot is a testament to love, hustle, and the American dream. The moment you walk in, youâre greeted by the sweetest little kids taking orders at the counterâtalk about a family affair! You can see Mom and Dad in the back, working magic on those massive woks, cooking up dishes with so much heart it feels like a hug in every bite. The food? WOW OH WOW, itâs next-level. The egg rolls are the stuff of legendsâold-school, fat, and stuffed to the brim with crunchy cabbage and a crispy shell that crunches like it means it. Every dish we tried was a banger, bursting with fresh, authentic flavors that make you forget the world outside. Yes, the prices might feel a touch high, and the building looks so run-down it could star in a shady movie setâpeeling paint and all. But donât let that scare you off! The food more than justifies the cost, and letâs be real, rent in Irving ainât cheap, so you know theyâre pouring everything into keeping this place alive. Carry-out only, no delivery, but trust me, itâs worth the trip. Grab your order, head home, and youâll be stuffed and grinning like you just won the food lottery. What really seals the deal is the vibeâthe kids at the counter, Mom and Dad in the kitchenâitâs a family pouring their soul into every dish. Itâs a reminder of the blessing of being in America, where a young couple could cross the globe, land in Irving, and build a restaurant this fresh and fantastic. Donât sleep on Linâs Kitchen; itâs a carry-out treasure thatâll leave you full, happy, and feeling the...
Read moreHad to go back for 2nd trip to ensure food quality and taste are consistent and they are. Of all the typical asian american style restaurants, I give this Lins Kitchen in South Irving top notch for the quality and taste of the food. The sauce is an original compared to most other places. The sauce does not overwhelm the existing ingredients. Blends perfectly. A hint of white pepper powder. This asian family must be cantonese in origin.... Will be returning to this location more often as my go to place for lunch when at work. My first visit was beef fried rice and 2nd visit was beef and spicy garlic sause. The Beef is marinated just right. Very soft and tender and no starchy after taste. Garlic sauce has a hint of sweetness along with the spicy flavor. Their Eggrolls are homemade using traditional egg wrappers and the internal ingredients are cantonese style..
The prices are very modest given the ongoing inflation atm. About 5-9 bucks per person for lunch and up to maybe $15 per person dinner.
Just went back again and quality and taste of food is very consistent. I wished you open another location in North Irving in Valley Ranch area. We have a chopstick there....
Read moreThe customer service in this place is terrible. The owner is angry and short/just not friendly at all. She sometimes has her daughter answering the phone and you have to repeat your order to her multiple times for her to get it right. (so frustrating) Now, make sure your order is correct before you leave. If you don't, they don't want to fix your order they will only try and give you a discount off your next order. If you bring your food back they will accuse you of eating some of it and say you need to pay money. Either way they want more money out of you... She will fight you tooth and nail and not correct the problem. Since she didn't want to fix my order I told her to give me money back after 15 minutes of back and forth....
