Pancake Bistro Café — Restaurant in Isabela

Nice place, beautifully decorated and clean. My order came out incorrect but I didn't say anything until I ate most of it because I needed to get food in my tummy because I had just taken my medication. I ordered French toast, eggs over easy, bacon and toast with a Chai latte. The Chai was great, the eggs we're sunny side up instead of over easy and got pancakes instead of french toast also the bacon was cold and so was the toast. The order came out very fast what lead me to believe that the bacon,pancakes and toast are pre cooked and probably in a pan or hot cart. Just my opinion as a former cook, might be wrong but if I am why was it cold? My recommendation if it's as I suspected is that if in order to get orders out fast they have bacon and other things precooked they either reheat things a few minutes before serving. Example the bacon can be reheated on the grill while the egg's are being done, same can be done with the pancakes that by the way were a bit dry and tasted like cornbread. Not terrible but definitely not fluffy. I was a bit disappointed by the experience because the place was recommended by a family member and I guess I had higher expectations. They are easy fixes and I'm sure they will correct them if they want to do a lot better. I still have them a 4 star rating because of the treatment, location, cleanliness and coffee and tea. My wife's omelette was loaded with vegetables and hot although the omelette itself was paper thin ( I know eggs are scarce and expensive right now) her cappuccino was great and the presentation by the barista is...

Had high hopes for this place passing it multiple times going between aguadilla and arecibo. Building and atmosphere looked inviting. However the front of the house staff was less than inviting. They said take a seat anywhere but we waited an extremely long time for any acknowledgement as multiple staff passed us by with us watching them. Finally a girl took our order but was a more or less a "what do you want?" you're bothering me type of attitude.

Food presentation looked amazing however there was a lot to be desired. No flavor, pancakes dry and bland. Was expecting the pancakes to be at least flavored according to the menu but no. Could honestly get better pancakes at cracker barrel.

Waited around for the check but never came. We had to get up and go to the front counter while we watched and waited a few minutes and she was more interested in other things.

Wouldn't mind trying something else as the menu is vast but no service staff was...

Kamille was our server, I’ll start by saying she was amazing. We are from Tampa and we traveled with a lot of people! We were so pleased. She was so kind, she translated the menu, told us the best things to order, which by the way is everything and never ever seemed put out. We had so many orders, separate checks, indecisive people and So on. She stayed open for us and did it all with a smile on her face. Gave us recommendations of places to visit!
