If I can give this place a 1 star, I would. I was in the area on vacation, visiting family. Unfortunately, my husband lost his glasses at the beach and unable to see without them. I had called about 8 places before an ophthalmologist (eye Dr's) office gave me this specific number and location, due to the fact that they would be able to provide glasses in under 1 hour, especially since it was an emergency. I had spoken to Efrain, who was helpful and was willing to work with us in our situation. He had specifically told me to come the following day as soon as the store opened because at the time they were closing. I arrived the following day and was greeted by Sonia. I had let her know my situation, she had advice me that she would be able to help, but at the moment they did not have the specific lens in stock, and that it was a day before a holiday. Sonia said to call on Saturday to make sure that the shipment that they were expecting should have arrived so that they could make the glasses in 1 hour. I waited till Saturday and spoke to Sonia. She acted as if I did not speak to her in person and kept on insisting that my husband pay for a new eye exam when his prescription was not old and was not expired. She had changed her story and did not want to help, all she wanted was to take my money for an unnecessary eye exam knowing that I physically had a copy of my husband's prescription on my phone. She kept insisting that we pay for a new exam and that we would not be able to get glasses till the following week, her knowing that we would have been back off the island and at our home. She was very rude and condenseding. She could care less in helping us, knowing that we could not get around the island since my husband could not see. Sonia has no professional mannerism, and is not an empathic towards people's needs. Especially in working in a medical office, like an ophthalmologist office. I would not recommend anyone to visit this location unless you want to be taken for your money and laughed at. The few negative reviews on here are actually very true, especially with the in person experience that I had. Sonia should be ashamed of herself for not being helpful to paying customers.

Si puedo darle a este lugar una estrella, lo haría. Estaba en la zona de vacaciones, visitando a mi familia. Lamentablemente, mi marido perdió sus gafas en la playa y no puede ver sin ellas. Llamé a unos 8 lugares antes de que el consultorio de un oftalmólogo (doctor de ojos) me diera este número y ubicación específicos, debido a que podrían proporcionarme anteojos en menos de 1 hora, especialmente porque era una emergencia. Hablé con Efraín, quien fue servicial y estaba dispuesto a trabajar con nosotros en nuestra situación. Me había dicho específicamente que viniera al día siguiente tan pronto como abriera la tienda porque en ese momento estaban cerrando. Llegué al día siguiente y me saludó Sonia. Le había contado mi situación, ella me había dicho que podría ayudarme, pero por el momento no tenían el lente específico en stock, y que era un día antes de un feriado. Sonia dijo que llamaran el sábado para asegurarse de que hubiera llegado el envío que esperaban para poder hacer los vasos en 1 hora. Esperé hasta el sábado y hablé con Sonia. Ella actuó como si yo no hubiera hablado con ella en persona y siguió insistiendo en que mi esposo pagara un nuevo examen de la vista cuando su receta no era vieja ni estaba vencida. Ella había cambiado su historia y no quería ayudar, lo único que quería era tomar mi dinero para un examen de la vista innecesario sabiendo que yo tenía físicamente una copia de la receta de mi esposo en mi teléfono. Ella seguía insistiendo en que pagáramos un nuevo examen y que no podríamos conseguir anteojos hasta la semana siguiente, sabiendo que habríamos regresado de la isla a nuestra casa. These guys were AMAZING!!! I was in such a bad way with the situation with my eyes. I was in desperate need of an exam and a new pair of contacts. I had no back up glasses so I was half blind. Could only drive at certain times, couldn’t work, etc. They were able to get me in the day I called! Sonia, Santos, Maria (who was kind enough to act as a translator for me), & the doctor were absolutely WONDERFUL!!! They were able to sell me a trial pair of contacts after my exam, and the price on a box of them was totally reasonable. They worked with me on how much I had to pay today. I can’t sing their praises enough!! They’re only ten mins from my house and as long as I’m on the island they will now be the only ones I trust with my eyes!! Thank all of you again SO MUCH for your help today!! Even with a language barrier there is just no comparison on how you are treated, & the quality of customer service you receive between here & the states. This is such a big part of why we live in this...

Dr. Ferzhad is 100% THE BEST! I seriously cannot stress enough how thrilled I am to have found this office. I have already gone for myself, & today I took my mother & I really didn’t think this experience could be even better than the last…but it was. You start out with the front staff like Sonia, & Eilyanl (I hope I spelled it right) & there was one more woman with long, straight, black hair, and they were all wonderful! The doctor is so personable, & so thorough in his explanations. It is SO HARD to find a doctor that you are comfortable with, & we were unbelievably lucky with Ferzhad.
