KOZY Coffee — Restaurant in Isla Vista

First of all, I have had coffee in this shop more than a dozen times. I have gone there almost every day in the past two weeks, and every time I order a large caramel latte. This place has the potential to be very good as the atmosphere is cozy and also the workers are very friendly. However, I have given this place many chances and I am always disappointed with the preparation of my coffee. I tried the Pumpkin Chai latte and not only was the drink lukewarm but it just tasted like they put a whole bottle of pumpkin syrup and 10 tablespoons of cinnamon. I love chai flavored drinks but this was not it. It seems like every time I get a drink from here, they overdo it on the flavors making it too sweet and not the right balance. They need to rethink their recipes and get the right ratio of ingredients to make the drink pleasant. The same thing happened last year when I took my friend here and she had to return her drink too because the flavors were too overpowering. Super cute place in the heart of downtown. Lots of seating to hangout with friends and a great place to study. The service was pretty fast, despite the line going around the corner. The food and pastries looked absolutely divine and tasted like it too!...
