Bagel Bazaar Jackson Twp — Restaurant in Jackson Township

I rarely ever complain about food and food businesses. My family owned a restaurant for many years so I know. But I miss the old bagel place that was here before Bagel Bazaar. I ordered for the first time about a month ago. I was in person. Asked for 6 bagels. Gave which ones I wanted. Got charged for 6 bagels. When I got home to put them in ziploc bags for freshness there were only 5. I called to let them know and they were nice to give me not only the bagels they missed but an extra for my trouble of driving back out there again. I decided to give them a 2nd chance based on that. I asked my husband in his travels on the road if he could pick up 3 Egg everything bagels. When he got home there were 3 plain/regular everything bagels. I asked my husband (without prompting what did he order and he said egg everything’s. Why?). I told him they were incorrect. Again. I called to let staff know. They said they can swap them if we brought them back. Not the point. It’s not worth the time to drive back there a second time. One shouldn’t have to drive back. This place used to be good but their new system is terrible, instead of just grabbing a bag turning around and putting the bagels that are right behind the register into the bag as you make your selections u tell a cashier who puts each individual bagel into the computer than takes that receipt puts the receipt on and order line where another person takes the receipt and fills the bag. Mind you there’s another register taking orders and the receipts are just put onto the line in no particular order. Waited 10 minutes for a dozen bagels and finally had to say something as they ran out of the bagel I ordered because an order that was taken after mine got the bagels that were there when I ordered. The bagels aren’t bad, they’re not great, but the service is terrible. Not the first time it’s happened there, was the only person in early Christmas Eve morning no one behind me and they still managed to screw up the order of 2 dozen bagels. Just grab a bag and put the bagels in as they are picked. Will not be going back here, Bagel king is further away but...

Agree with the last reviewer, been coming here awhile and the store has changed hands a few times, this last time it seems for the worst. Don’t get me wrong, the bagels are ok, they’re not the best, over done most of the time but I prefer them a little lighter personally. The system they use is in my opinion useless, I get printing out a check for the guys on the grill for sandwiches and such but for just getting plain bagels with nothing on it, it’s a waste of time and the orders are still wrong. Was in there this past weekend and had basically the same issue, waited 10 min after I ordered just to get the dozen bagels I ordered and saw people who ordered after me get out before me and when I got home my bagels were wrong. May seem petty to some but with prices of everything being what they are right now and nothing is cheap I would like what I paid for. Will be trying bagel king this...
