308 Brass Rail — Restaurant in Jackson

I hate giving this place 3 stars but the past few experiences haven't been good ones. Normally the food is top notch but today everything was undercooked even the sautéed onions were crunchy from being rushed which, in my opinion what was the reason for rushing my order being when I got there, there's a whole 3 people sitting at the bar not to mention i called a few times to order and kept getting put on hold and sent to vm and I'm trying to order with limited time because I'm at work so I placed an order online just to find out there's a convenience fee and this isn't even the worse part, I asked for ranch and they said I would be charged for it which wouldn't have been a problem if they didn't already charge a convenience fee so I asked the bartender if they could just take it out of the convenience fee considering I called multiple times and no one answered which they did let me do that but when I got my food out to my car I find out that my fries aren't even cooked all the way through almost as if they were just dipped in grease or microwaved so I called because I was on my way back to work and asked if the could remake them and they said they would but when I got back three employees come out to say that my fries were made to order and that the order was placed 30 minutes ago so they couldn't control the temperature of the food so I pulled them out and showed the lady and said no they aren't cooked and as soon as the lady seen them she says oh I see what you mean and the cook went back to remake them. But like why do I have to go through all of this extra stuff when there is more than enough employees, I understand if it's a busy day but there wasn't even a lot of customers and on a Sunday at that, it's sad to say because they have like the best burgers in town but I probably won't be returning, this is worse than bad customer service and if I do it definitely won't be...

Went there for the comedy show(group of 4-all of our first times being there) and it was such a let down. The show was amazing & we would go back just for that but the food & service was awful. Two of us got the mushroom Swiss burgers with fries and the mushrooms & Swiss cheese were super skimpy. Also, the burgers were dressed differently. Hers came with tomato and lettuce and mine did not(strange-same meal). An order of fries was missing and got a bag of chips instead and all 4 of our dipping sauces were missing. our mushroom appetizer also came after we finished our meals. They were very tiny, overly crispy and some where missing a mushroom(do not recommend). As a former Waiter I understood that our waiter may have had too much on his plate but every time he ran the food out to us or any other table he did not ask us if we needed anything… he never checked in on us. I was able to flag him down at one point when our food was gone to get a water and he ended up bringing it to the wrong person who was not...

We usually get delivery from here. Although we did go inside once to eat for some entertainment they had that day. The entertainment was great but the parking is terrible. Not enough paved parking. Had to walk through muddy parking lot , not happy about that. Its a small place and there was not enough servers for the large amount of customers they had. We waited almost an hour just to get bill so we could leave. If there was an emergency at that time of event we'd been screwed all trying to get out. Had to wait for multiple people to move just to use the bathroom and that was even going all the way around the tables since a the straight shot to the bathroom was going to be impossible. Any how the food is good. They do have some really good pizza. And when we want a good Hamburger delivered Brass Rail is the usual go-to. Really burger n fries n always still warm...
