Read moreFred's is a great local eating spot. It seems to have grown up in my opinion to serve food to an underserved area of the local city. There are not an overly abundant amount of restaurants in this particular area. Also in my opinion they remind me of a old school early morning hole in the wall quick stop breakfast spot. In the south. The type of place young mothers might stop to feed their kids on the way to work and school in the morning. It is the type of spot that if you are not from the area or understand the culture, you will look and think twice before entering but once you try the food you will keep going back. Service is fast and friendly. This place has hardly any online reviews and isn't much to look at from the outside, but it was absolutely hopping on a Wednesday morning. Definitely a hidden gem. It also seems to be...
