Alexis So I have my Mobile order and code on my phone and I am waiting in the drive-through, when I press the pick up at parking spot option instead. After this, I park in my spot and press which number I am supposed to be in. I watch two different cars go through the entire drive-through and leave separately before I called to see if anyone was even ready to come out. This took an objective 20 almost 30 minutes of waiting TOTAL mind you BEFORE I called. Homeless guy asks me for change for bus pass money while I wait in McDonalds of Lakeland’s designated spot for this amount of time. I decide to call to see what the holdup is on my one item order and got no answer after about 45 seconds of ringing. At this point, I decided to call a second time and got a hold of Alexis. She lies to me about what time I made my order and proceeded to interrupt me when I explained why it potentially showed that way (I started in the drive-thru). She continues to repeat my name in a condescending tone over the phone louder each time to prevent me from speaking. She then lets the call go silent to pretends she is not there, and proceeds to hang up the phone on me. Alexis offered no assurance that the food would be out soon or offerage of a refund Overall, the whole experience was really rude and insulting, considering I shop this business every single day. All of the other staff is so kind and respectful to me minus Alexis, and more importantly, whoever the management was on the morning of 3/4/25 (THIS IS NOW THE THIRD TIME IVE HAD TO REACH OUT OR REVIEW THE LOCATION DUE TO THIS LEADER) I manage 6 different phone operators that connect provider info with patients all day at a centralized pharmacy and none of which have disappointed me as much as sitting through this call with Alexis. I really hope someone can remind Alexis how McDonalds employees are supposed to treat the customers that depend on this business, and that she thinks before barking her opinions. I will be taking my daily (sometimes twice daily) business to Beagle Bagel - as it is the same price for better breakfast food from some people who will actually help you find your one item order - and I suggest other McDonalds...

My order was taken quickly and correctly, which is a significant plus for a drive-thru experience.
Order Accuracy: Order accuracy is crucial, especially in a drive-thru setting where customers often check their food after leaving the premises. I was pleased to find that my order was accurate, with all items correctly included and prepared as requested. This attention to detail is essential and highly appreciated.
Food Quality: The food quality met my expectations for McDonald's. The burger was fresh, with the patty hot and the toppings crisp. The fries were particularly noteworthy – hot, crispy, and perfectly salted. Even though drive-thru food can sometimes be less fresh than dine-in, this was not the case here.

Read moreAbsolutely dreadful experience at McDonald's today. I arrived promptly at 10:22 AM, hungry and hopeful for a quick bite to eat. Little did I know, I was about to embark on a journey of frustration and disappointment.
I patiently waited in the drive-through line, watching the minutes tick by on my clock. 10:22 turned into 10:30, then 10:45, and before I knew it, it was 11:03. Yes, you read that correctly, a whopping 41 minutes in the drive-through for a fast-food meal. At this point, I could have planted and harvested my own potatoes for fries.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I reached the order window. But wait, there's more! Lo and behold, upon receiving my order, I discovered that an entire item had mysteriously vanished from it. Did the Hamburglar strike? No, apparently the kitchen changed their kitchen times after accepting my mobile payment, conveniently forgetting about my food in the process.
Naturally, I approached the manager, hoping for some semblance of resolution. Alas, it was as if I was speaking to a brick wall. Not only was the manager unable to provide any proof of refund or exchange, but they seemed utterly unconcerned with the chaos unfolding before them. I could have been speaking Swahili for all the attention they paid me.
To add insult to injury, my receipt still boldly proclaimed that I had paid for the missing food. How's that for rubbing salt in the wound?
Overall, this laughably horrible incident at McDonald's left me not only hungry but also deeply disillusioned. If you enjoy wasting time and money while being ignored by apathetic management, by all means, visit this establishment. As for me, I'll be taking my...
