This was an absolute horrible experience. I’ve eaten here before and not had much of a problem. The lady answering the phone was extremely rude and short. She spoke English well when she spoke, when I was almost done ordering (which was only maybe 1 minute), she said be ready in 10 minutes bye. I wasn’t even finished ordering and didn’t give me a total. Then when we picked up the order she would not speak, (same person/same voice), had an extremely sour face and was rude while paying as she was on the phone. Charged us full price instead of lunch price for our combos. Wouldn’t itemize anything so we could verify. This is the epitome of the "hole in the wall" place , with fantastic food. It's menu is the long version, of your basic American Chinese restaurant, they have everything . It's all standard stuff , but perfectly prepared , hot and fresh , with the consistency and "mouth feel" that you usually only get in higher end restaurants. This is far from high end atmosphere , with no seating , take away only , the food passed through a hole in the covid era isolation wall , but if its the food that matters (it is, to me !) , this is, imo , the best Chinese food in Jackson , Tennessee. First things first. For your “Same as every other Chinese take out place that cooks frozen food and drenches it in sauce”, it was hot and fresh. Second, the customer service. At 9:30, they told us to hurry up because they close at 9:45, when it clearly states 10:00 on the door. Third, the horrible customer relations. We ordered 3 meals, each were $7.50 on the menu.
