Rookie's Burger Bar — Restaurant in Jackson

Went to lunch on a Friday with my son and daughter. Place was not crowded, so we sat right away. The table was sticky and the room was chilly. Server came right away, was very efficient. The menu was not up to date, as they no longer carry the beer I tried to order from it. My son got a cheeseburger and fries, my daughter the stuffed pickle nugget and I got the stuffed pretzel jalapeno burger with onion rings. Best burger place anywhere! My favorite is the Philly Steak and Cheese. I never feel sick after eating there either, where you would think that after eating a 1 lb stuffed burger, you'd feel weighted down and gross, nope, not here! Even after eating the French fries with it, I was still feeling pleasantly content, satisfied, like I was on a food high or something. The bartender, waitress was absolutely wonderful too! We found Rookie’s when we were looking for a small business to purchase a large quantity of meals from to feed residents at a local shelter. With just a couple hours notice they made us all of the meals we needed and shut down their whole kitchen for an hour to make sure they got them done. We have since been back and will definitely be regulars there. The people and the service are great and the food is amazing....
