Taqueria Rubio 2 — Restaurant in Jackson

Just got back from there. I couldn't even leave the parking lot without taking a bite of my torta! So good and flavorful and the green salsa packs a punch.

This was my first time going to either of the locations but it won't be the last.

I called in, ordered, and got a time estimate then hung up, completely forgetting to give the person on the phone my name. When I showed up, he apologized for hanging up (but it was definitely my fault 😂😂) and rung me up in a few minutes. My food was hot and ready to go.

He also mentioned that they have plans to begin serving ice cream so folks can get a full experience.

I love seeing thriving businesses in Jackson so I hope they continue to greatness!

Comida deliciosa! 😍 If you’re looking for great Mexican food, look no further! I drive 25 minutes(ridgeland) just to eat their Gorditas. Armin is always super nice, friendly, and helpful and I’ve saved this as my favorite place to have Mexican food.

It's been a while since we (hubby and I) last visited and we definitely miss this place. The barbacoa tacos are our favorite. Hubby is a trucker and sadly we aren't in the area anymore.
