This review is based on the young lady who took our order. I am not sure if she just couldn't understand or just that clueless. We tried to explain multiple times what we wanted. 3 of the tacos needed to be meat and cheese ONLY. When they came out there was onion and cilantro as well. While that is common on street tacos we specifically asked for only meat and cheese. These were for my son. I asked for them to be remade and she proceeds to tell me we would have to BUY 3 more. At no establishment do they make you pay for their mistake. We had continued trouble trying to communicate with her. Finally I was just frustrated enough we bought 3 more so my son could eat. Then when we attempted to check out she didn't know the difference between a bottle and can of soft drink. We had 1 each and she kept trying to charge for 2 bottles which was $1.50 more. Another lady came out and literally had to go get the drinks we had and show them to her. There was no language barrier as my wife speaks Spanish and was communicating with her. This is not who should be behind the counter taking orders. Simply because of this poor service we won't consider this...
Read moreI grew up eating authentic Mexican food. This place gets an excellent approval from me. Everything is fresh . They have an awesome condiments bar with your favorite salsas. I had the beef tongue and chicken tacos (asked for cheese to be added) and a steak quesadilla meal (includes beans, rice and guacamole salad). Everything was yummy and was even goid the following day warmed up. I recommend buying a bottle of guacamole salsa in the store to also have as a dipping option, adds great flavor. Everything was super cheap as well.
Also the meat and seafood was very fresh and we'll kept. I have not bought any from there yet. Any recipes calling for Latin ingredients you should be able to find here as well as home items (ex, blankets, cow boy boots, rosaries, and...
Read moreGreat food is to be had here. A nice, clean store that caters to Latin American clientele with a wide variety of meats and foods for the Latino culture. Brought back memories of living in Mexico. There is a small eatery located in the store with very good meal selections. I went for the street tacos and was not disappointed. While you are there, make sure to try the Pepsi's. They are they same that I used to get in Mexico. They still use natural cane sugar and the taste is great!
The eatery is nothing fancy but it was busy at lunch with a steady stream of working class people coming and going. Well worth trying if you are ready for some good authentic Latin food. Don't go if you are...
