Waffle House — Restaurant in Jackson

Does anyone clean here? Floors, tables, seats, window ledges at our table were all filthy. Sour smell from floors and shoes stuck to the floor as we walked to the dirty table that had been “cleaned”. Food still in the booth from previous customers. Customers were ignored and left as we waited for our order to be taken. Young waitresses standing around talking loudly about their personal issues with children present (inappropriate content). Loud “regular” customer was allowed to be rude and yelled at customers when they asked him to respect others. Manager told those customers to leave and left the “regular” there still yelling. Awfulhouse consistently has barely edible sub par greasy garbage food at bargain prices. What the food lacks in quality is made up for in great customer service and fantastic coffee. The menu is beyond extremely easy to navigate. I really wanted to eat at the nearby IHOP but refused to wait in line forever so l came here instead. Awfulhouse is never my first choice, it's just a repetitive bad choice I keep making out of necessity. The food quality is dismal at best, but I always feel welcomed, I never leave hungry and I never feel cheated. The working restroom is always a relief while traveling on the highway. This is one of the worst waffle houses I've gone to! The service was not good at all. All of the employees were fighting right in front of everyone. The food was the worst. We all ordered the all star breakfast. And everything but the waffle was cold. The grits were so cold & dry. When we told them the grits were cold. The lady said we don't have a microwave. There's nothing I can do. When I had my order taken I waited 20 minutes and still she had not put my order in. So I walked out. They need to work on their timing & mannars.
