Burger King — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Initially this place felt like it was going to be a disappointment when I was told that the milkshake machine was broken yet I could clearly see Frost formed on the lever action valves on the face of it. As I walked out to the vehicle to wait on my fiance to finish ordering her food and come join me so we can leave the manager Mr Wayne came out to inform me that the young woman who was taking our order had been informed earlier in the day that the milk machine was broken but that had been since fixed and nobody had informed her. He then proceeded to ask me if I would please consider rejoining my wife inside and allow them the opportunity to try and turn this dining experience around. I was so blown away by the fact that Mr Wayne who had done no wrong took responsibility and took the time to come and explain to me that there have been a mistake and where that mistake was made. Couple that with the fact that he apologized and asked me if I would return and give them a chance. I did even though I was skeptical, I did as he asked I gave him a chance and it was a home run this place wasn't too busy there was enough customers to make it feel homely but not overly packed and too excited inside. Worst BK I've ever been to. I would give 0 stars if I could!! I went to try the new spicy chicken sandwich and was in the mood for a vanilla shake. First off, I sat in the drive through for about 10 minutes before they came on for my order. It wasn't even very busy and the dining room was already closed. Slowest I've been to. I placed my order, spicy chicken sandwich only not the meal, 4 pc mozzarella sticks, and my shake. I was told no shakes so that ruined the experience already. After waiting another 10 minutes with only 2 cars in front of me I finally got to the window. After another 5 minutes Mr No Personality Wish I Was Anywhere But Here brought my order without saying a word. I drove around to the parking lot to eat and discovered they did the meal because there was an order of fries which I don't eat, going through the bag found there was no marinara sauce for the mozzy sticks, the sandwich looked like they threw everything from 4 feet away and wrapped it. 90% of the lettuce wasn't even on the sandwich and fell all over the place. And.. everything was cold!!. Went to the door to go in and get marinara but it was locked. I wasn't about to sit in line for another 20 minutes to get my sauce!! 2 issues. 1st VALINDA- in the window kept calling me a MAN after I told her nicely my name was Joe and the app code was mine. She then said welp, He will get the points. Which showed she just ignored me. Then at the window, I asked her name and said ma'am, my name is Joe and showed her my ID and gave her my CC with my name Joe on it. She then said well, Josephina was to dismiss what she saw.

Her stupidity was just too early in the morning & baffled me. I know a man named Valinda whom she favors, however, I didn't mention it. I have nothing against transgender people but to be rude just because- is unacceptable.

She was rude for no reason and I don't like people trying to take me out of character because maybe she hates her job or is having a bad day.

The 2nd issue is that she charged me .90 to change my coffee to a soft drink without telling me. A coffee is MORE MONEY than a value drink, by more than a dollar, so why did she charge me? Especially, without mentioning "ma'am, it is an upcharge for a soft drink" But she said nothing and I didn't notice until I got to work to scan my receipt...
