Checkers — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Actually I give them 0 stars! I bought a house just 2 blocks away behind this checkers and i have the right to be there as much as the next person. This is very personal what I'm about to say and I am very hurt and furious our food industry has stooped this low. They were suppose to be open till 4 am Thursday night/early Fri morning. Its 3:43,As I pull up to give my order,no one answers the intercom. I see a worker walking back from giving 2 cars parked on the side ,there food. I asked , excuse me your still open right? He said , no were not. I said, your not open anymore? No answer. I said excuse me? It says your suppose to be open till 4am. He said, usually we are but we're closed now. I said i will be callin your superiors. I called the restaurant to ask if they were opened . My boyfriend and iI,pretended to be a black guy. We asked are u still open? It's still only 3:50am. The lady said for another 15 mins ,we said so yes,she then said,yes for another 5 mins,ha,trying to dodge the question. So I immediately called back as me,a white early 40's disabled female.i explained what just happened ,the whole story,adding in, I feel as this was because of my white color and i do not appreciate getting outta bed an hr early b4 boyfriend has to go to work to get food and we come here almost everyday ,especially because I'm disabled and it's very close to home and mind you it's the only fast food around here,the others down the street suck to same kinda service. The lady says ,calm down ,there is no man working here,i said well there's a girl that looks like a dude then and what does it matter ,I have been very disrespected by one of your employees. She said mam if Ull just come back ill take your order myself. I said its to late now ,uve made me drive all the way across town to McDonald's,now there's deffinately no time b4 your really closed. I said I will be calling your corporate office. I called an 800 number it said do to difficulties call answered and hung up. Are you freaking kidding me? This is not the first time we have been treated like this. Every time they have treated us horrible because we're white ,if Ur waiting for 45 mins for a chicken box and every single person that came after you was served and left b4 you and ur the only white person,what would you think. I will NEVER,EVER go back to this place. And I mean to that location. I've never felt so unwanted for my bussiness just because of my color. This world has become so disgusting it makes me sick! I've worked in the food industry my entire life and I have never treated anyone different for ANY reason. And i have NEVER in my life seen a whole staff member,night and day treat one person the same every freaking time im there. They will never get my business again, no matter how close or how hungry my family and I are. Very...

I really don't like giving bad reviews however this place deserves everything it gets. I came to the window and one guy is totally ignored me and I really didn't think much of it cuz I thought well he's doing another job and someone else and come to this window. After waiting 5 minutes I tapped on the window and said look I have a pickup for this particular person is the order ready? The guys answer was yes right away I had it back here and he went to turn away from me. Now mind you he had never opened the window I just tapped on it when he came by and asked him because I had been ignored for 5 minutes at that point. So you have to understand how rude this guy was, when he said yeah it's ready. I have it back here. It was like it was a challenge yeah it's here but you're not getting it until I'm good and ready. So I finally put the phone up against the glass so he could see that I was with doordash and said do you think I could get it? When he saw that it was with doordash he changed his tune oh yes ma'am one moment. And they still didn't give the guy his root beer. Over all I have to say this was the worst experience I've had at a restaurant only because it was intentional. I've gotten bad service but it wasn't intentionally bad service and this was extremely intentional bad service. Sorry for the rant but do yourself a favor and go to a different Checkers if you're...

So I'm just a courier for a food delivery service thingy and I'm NOT the type to get mad and hissy about receiving food because hey, as a former fast food worker I get it, things go hellish but when I drove in to pick up some orders there was no line through the intercom only on the delivery side. So I thought cool, not much of a wait but I was so dead wrong. I received the food for my first order but not the drinks and was gonna wait since anyways I got another order and thought they're readying it up. They ran out of one thing which is fine whatever it happens and waited for the drinks and second order. ... Roughly 30 minutes passed and no drinks received and second order, I kept waving trying to get their attention but it was like they're ignoring me!!! So then my customer texted me if everything's alright and just said forget the drinks and had to cancel the other order because who KNOWs how much longer it'll take and I'm not going to waste more time when I can fulfill other orders in a much shorter time span Absolutely the worst service I ever received and the first point where I have to whine about it point.
