We've dined here MANY times, and it always seems to be hit or miss. Our most recent visit was a definite MISS. We were greeted promptly, sat in a booth and our waitress came over within a few minutes of being seated. I think her name is Maria - she is ALWAYS fantastic, and we LOVE when she is our waitress. TOP NOTCH. Always smiles, has a great personality, does her job extremely well. Maria took our order, and it came out VERY, VERY quickly. I've never had food come out that fast - EVER. I looked at my husband as I found it unusual that the food came out as quickly as it did. We started to eat, and I very quickly realized why it came out so fast. I cut into my chicken, and it was COLD - not warm, not cool...COLD. My broccoli was warm -but barely. I didn't eat any of the chicken but did eat the broccoli as I was starving. We notified Maria about the chicken as soon as she came around again. She apologized and took my food back and said she would make sure the cooks prepared fresh chicken for me. My husband, who was also starving kept eating his food as I didn't want his food to get cold, waiting for mine. A manager, or who I presume was a manager (tall, thin, black man) came to our table and asked how we were. I told him about the chicken and while he expressed shock, he didn't seem that bothered by it. He said he would check on my fresh order and get back to us. While waiting, my husband had almost finished his meal, and my fresh chicken finally came out, delivered by another manager (white, older female). They did bring another side of broccoli as well. she asked me if it looked better and I said yes. She asked if I wanted to try it (while she stood there staring at me) and make sure it was good to go. The chicken was better but definitely not as hot as I would've expected it to be, coming directly from the grill. The new broccoli was luke warm as well. Maria did come by and ask if we were ok and gave us our bill, after we asked for a to go box. We were not charged for the 2nd meal however considering the meal was almost $20, the chicken could've made me sick AND my husband was almost done with his meal before my 2nd meal came out, compensation should've been offered (in addition to the 2nd meal). It was not a pleasant experience and the only reason(s) we would come back would be Maria and the fajitas (as those always come out sizzling). The food has declined and is subpar, overpriced and...
Read moreBy far the worse experience I've had at any Chili's location. First I'll start with my husband, daughter and I usually come here once a week or so, but tonight my daughter had basketball practice so just my husband and I went. First off we're asked what we wanted to drink we order that and get an appetizer to start. She gets ready to just walk off when my husband says can we go ahead and order. We place our order. We both order steak/chicken fajitas and both added street corn. Someone else brings the food.... Street corn as I must say we literally order street corn all the time and we know if something taste like soap. They tried to say if it's the way it taste because XYZ. I stated i know how street corn taste we order it everytime we come and this is soap I taste when I bite into the corn. Mind you I said someone else bought the food so we hadn't discovered this until after we ate our fajitas so by now okay where's the waitress nowhere to be found. Also, we're seated right by kitchen saw waiters going in and out but our waitress no idea where she disappeared to. Fast forward we eat and just sitting like umm 🤔 where's the waitress like did she forget about us like what the heck!!! Any other time we've came here the waitress periodically checks on us to see if we're okay or if they can get us something else, etc. We're sitting an additional 37 minutes after eating... We had our entire meal and waitress still hasn't come to ask if we're okay or if we needed anything, refill never came that my husband asked for when did was dropped off!!! After eating we finally was able to speak to someone else and they got someone to come I assume assistant manager about the street corn and second at this point we no longer wanted to add a meal to take with us for my daughter after practice because of how long it took anyone has come to the table!!! So, we have them take corn off bill because went paid for something we couldn't eat then we're told waitress will be over because I wanted to pay in cash. Back waiting again..... I'm just tried of going on with this review, but ya get my point... horrible horrible experience!!!! This was our go to because of how close they are, and always had good experience until tonight. My husband has already said that's our last time...
Read moreI am a regular at this Chili's when i am in Florida...I went in for supper earlier this month and had problems with my food & drink - Chili's was much better in the past, last winter they changed the "fresh sour mix" used in margaritas - it is Awful, i cannot stand to have it in a drink - it's flavor is Blah & watered down compared to the fresh sour mix they had before. I ordered Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila with OJ this visit, as i have done since the fresh sour mix change, and the OJ was below average - it usually seems fresh a good stong flavor - now it seems Chili's is watering down the OJ now! With the price of alcoholic drinks, the mixers should not be watered down & poor taste! My food had problems also...i ordered a "triple dipper" With the small hamburgers and southwestern eggrolls. A year or so ago the avocado/ranch dressing changed, for the worse, and it is the same bad sauce. The sauce before was SOOOO GOOD, i said it was addictive! I ended up eating the eggrolls with no sauce :( There was a problem with the hamburgers - i ordered Plain. They came with a glob of stuff on them, my server said it was peppers & onions and took them away. The new order came out and the hamburgers were Very VERY greasy, less meat than the last time i had them, and Very well done - which i ordered "try to leave some pink." The meat was SOOOO greasy i blotted them off on napkins and then picked away much of the buns which had a lot of grease on them - i wish i would have just sent the burgers back, but i was hungry and ate them after cutting the crispy burnt edges of the burger Off. I mainly tasted what i put on them - ketchup, mustard, and yellow onions that i brought in myself. (I do not like the purple onions you put on burgers) I also ordered a side of fries - the fries were good, as they usually are - i got a fresh order when the burgers came back out. Beside the fries being good, my server, Mariah, was Very good. I try to sit where she is working - she remembers me, is nice, and remembers how i like my food. She apologized for the problems with my food order...i don't think She should have to. Chili's needs...
