A while back my wife and I went through the driveway through for a morning coffee. The lid they gave us was dirty and covered in some kind of sticky grime. We come often and don’t like to complain so we didn’t say anything. But not even ten minutes later the cup started to leak and deteriorate, and hot coffee spilled on my work shirt, staining it and burning me. Since it had only been ten minutes we drove back and politely asked for another cup, but surprisingly the man at the window laughed in my face and said he couldn’t do that. Even when I showed him the cup, my shirt, and receipt from less than fifteen minutes ago, and he was the same man that gave me the dirty cup he very rudely told me he wasn’t going to help me. His coworkers then joined in, all smirking and offering no help. We then went to Dunkin across the street and service was night and day, the woman there was kind and told us the cup was hot, and just all around offered great service. Honestly had it just been a dirty or defective cup I probably would have forgot about it, but the total disrespect of the employees was unacceptable, especially given how often we come and how polite we were. We called corporate and explained the issue. That was two months ago. Subsequent calls have been taken by mostly rude employees telling us they’ll call us back when they can, and continuously trying to hang up while we explain the issue. Until now I thought that people who left bad reviews and called corporate were annoying, now I understand the frustration of being disrespected by people who are getting paid to help you. We used to go to Krispy Kreme pretty often, but because of this I doubt we’ll...
Read moreI normally have different issues with this place, but tonight tops the cake. Worst service imaginable tonight. I placed an online order for pickup. When I got to the establishment, the lines were wrapped around the building spewing from Atlantic Blvd, into the connecting parking lot blocking other businesses. Looked and felt like I was in traffic in Atlanta or something. You could NOT go inside, they had a sign on the door that said "Drive thru only", then when you finally get to the intercom, there's another sign that says that thier headsets aren't working and that you have to order at the window. While in line, I called 3 times to cancel my online order, but no one would answer the phone. When I finally got to the window, they took their time to acknowledge me, and the employee was at the window stuffing her face with Chick-fil-A. I received half my order and had to wait even more to get the rest, while STILL watching this employee eat her Chick-fil-A! I stayed in line for ONE HOUR and for an online order that was placed for ASAP pick-up. I understand that it is National Donut day and places are expected to have a bit of a delay, but an hour wait in line is ridiculous and I can't believe I stayed in line that long and should have took an L on what I paid online. If they were having issues, they should have that displayed on the website or the app before consumers place orders or simply answer the phone when it rings to let people...
Read moreI used to love this location. We are a military family & no matter where we are stationed at we find a location that we love. My husband & I bring our children here often. We order online & pick up in the drive thru. Today we ordered the BOGO (Buy One Dozen, Get one for $1) total $16 on the app. & redeemed points for a specialty doughnut. I approached to counter to get our order. The short white lady accused of us lying about a $16 order. I showed her the order & email, even after showing her proof she wanted to argue & became combative saying that’s not what we ordered & we’re only getting one box. I told her no, we ordered the BOGO. She told me to cancel the order & since we were already in the store, we shouldn’t have ordered online we should’ve ordered with her. At this point I ended the conversation with her & asked for manager. I’m a grown woman, you are not going to tell me what I should & shouldn’t do. I showed him the same exact receipt for $16 & he tried to explain to her how to read the receipt. Heck, she was even rude to him, not listening & turning her back. All of this over $16 makes no sense at all! She never apologized or anything. The original glaze is $14.49 the BOGO is $16.00. The way it is set up on the app., you don’t add 2 different boxes. It’s already preset for you. How does she work there & not know nor understand the current promotions. I attached our order to...
