Good evening, When I first started eating here to get takeout (a bit of a drive for me), the food was really good. It tasted like real fried rice , not the horrid yellow frice rice you see everywhere. The chicken was crispy, the sauces we on point, the shrimp & lobster sauce was flavorful. I noticed some reviews mentioning mushy eggrolls, etc. But I decided to make the long drive to get takeout. It was disappointing. The fried rice that came with my combo meal tasted “off” and stale- not fresh at all. The chicken combo dinner I ordered had an almost chemical taste- again, just tasted off. The shrimp and lobster sauce was ok….not at their normal high standard. And sadly, the eggrolls were not good at all. Mushy, pasty on the inside, with the eggroll skin tasting like cardboard. Read moreGot a variety of items to try for our 1st time. The Boneless Spareribs were bland & somewhat fatty & the Beef Teriyaki On a Stick was very flavorful but both were super tough and chewy, like jerky.
The Pepper Steak was over-velveted, too soft, gelatinous yet still chewy, nice flavor but texture very off-putting.
The Veggies were nice & crisp with a garlicky brown sauce, and we saved the Pork Fried Rice for another time (leftover fried rice freezes great!) but appreciate that it's a respectable brown in color, seems flavorful.
The Egg Rolls are too small, having more layers of wrapper than filling, but were enjoyable, nice flavors.
The Crab Rangoon are triangles here. We prefer the 4-corner folds, but the filling was tasty, nice crunch of green onion.
The guy at the counter that took our order was very helpful, super nice & enthusiastic about the quality of the restaurant. We won't be regular customers as it's a 30-minute drive but I wish them very well, they definitely put passion & effort...

I ordered chicken lo mein with double chicken and got all the way home, opened my box up later that night and there was no double chicken in my box. I went back up to the restaurant, with my lo mein in Tupperware so I could show the cook and manager and instead of even looking in my Tupperware and he refused to believe there was no double chicken in my box. I said sir, there is no way I would DRIVE BACK UP HERE IN MY CAR TO ASK FOR DOUBLE CHICKEN IF I FELT LIKE MY BOX HAD DOUBLE CHICKEN. The cook proceeds to tell me that he doesn't want MY service when he never gave me good service to begin with, then does a refund when all I wanted was the EXTRA CHICKEN.
