Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I’m really excited that Dutch Bros has made its way to the East Coast — I’ve been a fan of the brand for a while, and the energy, service, and community they bring is always something special. Everyone here is super nice, and the service itself is friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciate.

That said, the efficiency at this location hasn’t quite lived up to the Dutch Bros experience I’ve had on the West Coast. I’ve often found myself stuck in long lines, with drinks sitting on the counter ready to go but not being run out to waiting cars. There are times when I’ve pulled up and there isn’t even anyone outside taking orders, so I get all the way to the window only to find my order hasn’t been placed yet — even though there are 10+ cars behind me in line. On other occasions, I’ve been waiting at the window while my drinks are still being made, even as finished drinks are left sitting for customers behind me.

Dutch Bros is known for fun, upbeat, and fast service, and that’s a big part of what makes the brand so unique. I’m hopeful this location will iron out some of these issues with time, because I’d love to see the same level of efficiency here on the East Coast that’s made Dutch Bros such a...

I first experienced the delight that is Dutch Bros while on a business trip in Phoenix AZ! Their variety of flavors, their frozen drinks, and their rebel energy drink options are unlike anything else in the fancy coffee industry. Even though this location is not open yet, I am leaving 5 stars because I think it is going to be a fabulous addition to the neighborhood, and I’m so glad to see Dutch bros expanding into the southern market! I’ve been to the location on US1 several times since they opened, including on their opening day. The quality of the drinks and the friendliness of the staff at that location is just as consistent as it is out west, which gives me high hopes for this location as well. Extremely disappointing. The pictures made everything look amazing, but the reality fell far short. The banana smoothie with caramel drizzle was terrible. It tasted similar to a banana Laffy Taffy—overwhelmingly artificial and sugary. The caramel had an odd coffee flavor that completely clashed with the rest of the drink.

The strawberry smoothie was even worse. It tasted nothing like real strawberries. Within just two minutes, it started separating—artificial ingredients floated to the top while a clear, watery layer settled at the bottom.
