Made an order online for pickup , got to the store and I called the number on the sign to let them know I was here. Guy who answered didn’t have a clue and proceeded to ask me when I wanted to order after I just told him I was picking up an order already placed. So now I’m irritated and wondering if my order is going to be right. He finally finds it and tells me to come inside. So I come inside to see the same guy trying to hand my order to another couple who told him they are not the people who ordered that and that’s not even their name. So the. Two guys proceed to argue about it behind the counter in front of us until one of them asked me if * name here * is my order so I said yes. Hands me three bags which I checked the order and what do you know my order is missing all the drinks. So then they look at the receipt to check to make sure I’m accurate and then proceed to fill up the drinks. I go to the other side of the counter to pick them up and one cup is halfway filled up . So one of them grabs it to top it off more ( on his own accord I did not ask him to do so ) and then he asks me which drink that was , I then tell him I don’t know you filled it up , and he had no idea so they finally sort that out and I get the drinks and go. I get home to open the orders and the container my salad came in was smashed and looked like someone stepped on it . * note it was in a bag by itself and was cold so it could not have been heat from a heat lamp causing the issue , which is common with a hot food order. * so I threw the side salad away because I’m not sure who’s foot it was that stepped on it but what a terrible experience. My wife wanted this for Mother’s Day and that is the only reason why I proceeded to take the order and bring it home or I would have told you guys to to pack sand and give me my money back so I can bring it somewhere else who is going to take care of the food , appreciate the Business and act more professional when facing customers. Read moreI went out on a bit of a limb trying Epik today, and honestly, my experience adds up to the okayest attempt at an elevated burger spot. It’s not the best burger in Jacksonville, but it’s not the worst either. Just fine.
You may notice I don’t have a long list of restaurant reviews, but considering I spent $59.01 on my meal today, I think it’s fair to say I had a little skin in the game.
Ordering was smooth. They have three self-serve kiosks that keep things moving. The restaurant was fairly busy, with most tables at least partially filled.
I tried both of their June specials and considered getting a shake, but I had to skip it because of my lactose intolerance. I already suffer for cheese. The poutine came out about 15 minutes before my burger, which threw off the pacing a bit. The gravy was hot, but the fries were room temperature and the horseradish aioli cooled the dish down even more. Every bite was a different temperature. Not bad, just not cohesive. I ordered with the goal of having leftovers, so not finishing it wasn’t a letdown. Honestly, I think my air fryer might make it better tomorrow.
The burger was the biggest disappointment. It lacked flavor completely. If it weren’t for the red wine bacon jam I added, I would have been pretty let down. The cheese had a good punch, and the slaw brought in some nice acidity. Unfortunately, the bone marrow was also room temperature. After waiting around 25 minutes from ordering to getting my food, that part was frustrating.

The customer service was lacking in hospitality and absolutely horrible this is our first time and definitely the last time. They made sure to tell us "anyone over eight to wear a mask" ignored us while we asked the guy a question. The kids sat at the slimy and crumb covered table table like the other unmask individuals, well trying to retrieve a high chair every single one was dirty. The overall feel of the restaurant was just dirty and the smell was foul. We ordered our food to go so we didn't have to sit there. While trying to order the guy walked away from the register and we were left with the girl who could not speak up, and had to repeat our order to her three or four times. I watched the guy happily help others customers and help the girl take orders after us. And assisted customers telling them how to order so there meal would be cheaper. The PB Burger after ordering it with Jelly (and paying an extra 50cent per burger) making it a PB&J didn't have the jelly on either. My brother and sisters kids CHEESE burger didn't have cheese and the bun was crumbly and dry. Was missing a fry and our sweet potatoe fries tasted slimy and greasy. We ordered 6 burgers, 4 shakes and 5 fries .. worst $85 spent...
