Hardee’s — Restaurant in Jacksonville

After working a double shift totalling 17hrs I was hungry and wanted some great tasting breakfast food. I choose HARDEES because they were my very first employer back in my hometown of Ohio; Now I've relocated to The Sunshine state of Florida and their HARDEES is THEE BEST EVER. The parking lot is huge plus clean with lovely trees and landscape overall, the staff is very patient, kind, courteous, team players, have humour within their interactions with all, and on top of everything!!! Their public restrooms were even CLEAN! That is always a great sign that their food is going to be DELICIOUS and guess what, THEIR FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! I ordered $48.94 worth of quality food and MyFiance and Myself enjoyed everything! Our HARDEES location and kudos goes out to restaurant #1501524 at 8040 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville FL 322221. The cashier had great customer service and was very patient with me and informed me of menu items plus options on HARDEES specials. The cook line kept delicious food coming by tackling incoming orders and keeping the food in good quality, drive through employees completed their orders promptly, and the morning manager was working hard just like his entire crew. I am extremely satisfied with my service and food, I will only eat at their great HARDEES location because they are AWESOME! Hardee’s has good quality food options. It is consistently good and high quality for a fast food restaurant. I drove up and saw very nice shade trees and ample parking. The outside of the building looked nice and inviting. When I walked in, I expected several people in the restaurant because the prime parking spots near the door (including the handicapped) were taken. To my surprise, there were no customers. So I can only deduce that the employees took all the prime parking spots. At that point I wondered about the quality customer service. When I walked to the counter the girl behind the counter walked up to the register and said nothing. I looked at her and asked if she was ready. She said yes. She took my order and I got the quality of food I was expecting. I ate in the dining area and the (presumed) manager was interviewing someone. She started yelling to the others behind the counter. She wasn’t angry, just talking very loudly so those behind the counter could hear. Certainly not professional.

The dining area was clean and well taken care of.

thanks to this establishment, I avoided another case of heat stroke. i am currently homeless. needless to say i am also unemployed. living on the back of my bicycle, pedaling close to 16 hours a day, i generally spend my time looking for employment and staying hydrated while doing so. today i decided to stop in Hardee's to see if they by chance we're hiring. today was a muggy day averaging 94° F and I am currently soaked in sweat as i walked in the front door. Hardee's is in fact hiring, so I walked over to the fountain machine and filled Yeti tumbler with some ice cubes and water before sitting down at the table and beginning the application. within 60 seconds I was greeted by whom I assume to be the store manager, and he walked over to me with a friendly step to his gate and wouldn't you know it, offered me a glass of ice water!

i tell you, It's people like this that continue to facilitate reciprocity in our communities on a daily basis. this gentleman must have been moved by the Lord himself because he next offered me a patty melt, to which I responded with my apologies for I don't have any money. The manger, with a warm smile that reached his eyes, told me not to worry about the cost, dinner was on him...
