Wish I could say something good but I can't. Drive by this place every-night when I get off work at 11 and always saw them open late. Last Tuesday I had the taste for shrimp and gizzards and decided to give them a try. This was my first and last time. Got there just before closing and I was the last person in line. Paid for shrimp and gizzards with an order of hush-puppies. Was told they were closing in 15 minutes. After getting home and showering with the thought of my order running through my head and more than 15 minutes later I sat down to eat. OMG to my surprise I had an order chicken wings. What a disappointment! Not what I ordered or paid for. The wings were hard with a hand full of cold hard fries. The hush-puppies were also dark, hard and dry. I was so hungry but only able to get through a couple of them. Hush puppies found the trash can. When I went back to try the shrimp and gizzards again and told the woman at the counter what happened, all she could say was I'm sorry. A 6 piece wing meal is $6.59 and I paid $9.35. All I wanted was a $2.76 credit for the correct order. Still I was told I'm sorry nothing I can do. Very poor customer service when the error was theirs. Well I usually Uber Eats this place but I decided I didn't mind the ride. Mistake! I was better never coming here. I feel the place inside was questionable, but looking behind the counter at the people making the food. The area looked very clean. Everyone wearing gloves even seen one guy take a pair off and change them. The drive thru seemed a mess though. The worker at the window was extremely rude, the way he was talking to customers who where just hungry. Did I mention he was eating a open plate right in front of me while I was waiting for my food. The inside is well dated the furniture looked like it was bought from a cheap flea market storage. (Note:none of those are here in Jax) Overall the food was still good. I got some fish shrimp and fries with a side of oysters. The fish had to be frozen not fresh while tasty still loses points. The shrimp go fast because of the seasoning. I love the fried oysters of course with ketchup don't judge. Sorry I ate half the food before I thought about a photo. I wish they sold the seasoning, they put on the seafood. I know for sure it's at least lemon pepper. Overall I like the place but with the area being how it is right there and the inside. I'm gonna stick to Uber Eats or Door Dash...

I've been eating from here for abt 6 months. I order the same thing all the time & it's usually ok. But yesterday, I ordered 3 orders of the mozzarella sticks. Pulled off and got to the traffic light on Atlantic blvd...bit into one of my mozz sticks & it was like cream cheese on the inside. All 3 orders were like this and they clearly wasnt cooked all the way. I turned around to get another order. While they were cooking, I asked for a complimentary drink and the manager rudely told me NO & walked off. I said y'all messed up my order & I had to turn around & u mean to tell me u can't accommodate me with a small drink? Again, he said NO! This is why they get 2 stars because that was very rude & inconsiderate customer service. The food isn't all that great; it's just convenient. But never again.
