My Filipino wife and I drove all the way from Savannah, GA to this store bc she since she came to the USA in July of 2015, we can't find many Filipino products. There are a few at some Vietnamese stores in Savannah, but not much. My wife loved this place because the lady at the counter and the lady in the back (plus even a couple of customers) started talking to her like they'd known her for years and she had a blast! The prices were a teeny bit higher on a couple of products that we HAD seen in Savannah (like $7 for Argentina corned beef versus $6 in Savannah), but the selection makes up for it. The food at the small resto in the back was authentic and cheap, 2 selections plus rice for only $6.50! The lechon kawali tasted exactly like it was in Manila and that's saying something! The lady even gave us a free to go bowl of lechon because it was our first time there! We are super pleased and my wife said the 2 hour drive was well worth it! We didn't even drive further down the street to Myre Asian, bc we got all we needed here, but next time we'll check that out to see if these rumors that the owners talk bad about Mike...
Read moreWORST SERVICE IâVE EXPERIENCED AT AN ORIENTAL STORE. We came in and not one worker said hello or welcomed us in. Says on their website that they closed at 6pm. Got there around 5:30 maybe even before that and not even making it to the second isle, weâre being rushed by the ladies who work there asking how weâre paying bcus theyâre closing the store down. As one of them walk by, I asked âwhat time do you guys close?â this lady completely ignored me and walked away! So I asked the other lady behind the counter and she told us theyâre closing at 5:45 so she can go to church. Okay thatâs cool and all but you shouldâve told us this as soon as we walked in the door. And to think the service couldnât get any worse, as weâre checking out and paying for our stuff, the lady who kept ignoring us turned off the lights in the store! They donât even deserve a 1 Star. Iâm here visiting from NC due to the hurricane and these people canât even give decent service. Never coming back and will not recommend my friends or family...
Read moreI have been coming here for years. Usually, I just ignore the rudeness from the little girl in the front. Her parents haven't taught her manners and won't greet you at the door or acknowledge you unless you're giving them stuff to buy. They let their ice cream mochi thaw out and refreeze them so the mochi falls apart while you're eating them. Not the only time, it was several different times. I only got my money back once, and they asked me why I kept buying if I knew the quality was bad. You don't know until you open it, and I thought they would do better after the first complaint. This time, I came back for their siapao and it was moldy all over. Doesn't help that when you open the refrigerators, it smells rotten. I'm not coming again. Find another store. They obviously haven't changed...
