I ended up eating the food to fast to even take any pictures so sorry for that but my god I got off from a long day of work hungry I thought about going to a fast food chain but I only had about 13 bucks and I didn’t get paid until tomorrow so I had just came to see what the prices were not expecting to be able to afford anything but they were rather inexpensive I got the lamb and chicken mix for only 11 dollars honestly a great deal for how much food you get I’m not big only salads but the chicken and the lamb white sauce and hot sauce were to good I ate the vegetables before I got to the rice an f to be frank I eat out often I go to expensive restaurants like taverna rue capital grill seasons 52 but they all felt as if they were lacking any real flavor in a werid sense but when I got to the side with the rice my eyes genuinely widened the rice was so fragrant and flavorful it paired perfectly with the chicken and lamb and was hot and fresh you can just tell this food was made with love honestly I haven’t had any food that good in years and I’ve as if it was what I had been longing for if this spot was in a better place I could see business sky rocketing but the food really did make me say wow I really wanna take me mom and girlfriend here to experience this and even before I got my food and tried to leave a tip and he refused genuinely amazing service you can tell there is love in this food and business I wish nothing but the best and I will...

I'm not going to lie... I visited today around 1:30 for the first time. I figured it would have been busy right when they opened at 1. I came because of the 5 star reviews and I'm left wondering about a lot of things. So I tried the mix lamb/chicken over rice with hot sauce on the side. Also, got the philly with fries. The bowl was just ok. My problem was it wasn't very hot. In fact I don't believe my meat was fresh. It also looks like it's a lot of meat but the rice was piled high. But the meat was visibly dried out, both of them but the chicken was worse, it was just "covered" in sauce. Taste was ok, not over the top good which is what the reviews gave. The philly & fries were the only hot items. I threw half the bread on the philly away because it was all vegetables- the meat ratio was off. However the meat in this item was good. I was the only customer and the young lady was very pleasant... I even told her it was my first time and she told me to let her know if I needed anything and she was glad to see me. Nice experience with service. Overall I think they missed the mark on my order, and I'm not certain I'd return. Food Wow of Jacksonville truly exceeded my expectations. My wife and I ordered two mix bowls with a side of pita, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. My wife had the lamb and chicken with sauce on the side, while I enjoyed the beef/gyro meat and chicken combination.

The proteins paired perfectly with the yellow basmati rice, tomato, shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers, pickles, and white sauce. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I added their house-made hot sauce, which took the flavors to a whole new level. The heat cut through the richness of the white sauce and complemented the pickles and banana peppers beautifully. Though I initially found the white sauce to be slightly sweet, it still blended well with the overall dish. Personally, I prefer the Lebanese-style white sauce, Toum.

The pita was buttery and the ideal vessel to carry and marry all the ingredients together.
