Jville Crab Shack #1 — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I probably will never enter this establishment again. My very first visit was wonderful! I met the owner and he was very courteous. The next time I came I brought my family members and it was a completely different environment! When we tried to order and add multiple sides the woman behind the counter would not acknowledge the additional items added or the requests for seasoning and just kept repeating “okay what else.” Then after we paid she brought the food over cold and we requested that it be warmed or steamed since we ordered mussels and oysters. She told us to “heat it up at home for 2 minutes.” We informed her that we paid with cash and not Ebt so could she simply warm it up. She snatched the bag and then sat it by the microwave. The manager had to come apologize and heat the food up himself. The manager then kept trying to give us a free soda that no one wanted as if that was justification for her rude demeanor all the while not muttering a word to his employee. We were absolutely disgusted. Food was mediocre as well. The shrimp wasn’t deveined and the mussels were stiff...

Day one, we went for the fried foods menu.. It was cool for the price so we decided to go bk again. On the 2nd visit, we decided to buy food for our kids as well, and as we scrolled the menu, we chose the wings and shrimp. It's featured as 3 WHOLE WINGS, and i believe 8 shrimp and fries. Get home, the wings aren't whole. They were drummettes. So I called him bk and made mention on what we discovered. He tells me, "Oh, I been stop doing whole wings for some time" .. Whattt...well dont you think you should have mentioned that when a customer orders that combo seeing as its advertised as whole wings? Why is the picture of whole wings still on the menu? Had I known that, I wouldn't have purchased that. False advertisement. What a shtty reason to lose a customer. I will not return if I can't trust you or your menu if you're not willing to...

I visit J-Ville in Norwood I love this place not only because they have quality seafood but for the fact that when you walk in there it may be a seafood restaurant but you cannot smell the food you know most seafood places you go to smell all the seafood and the sourness of it when it's gone bad but this place is 100% clean and it has been that way ever since I've been going there and I've been going there now for over maybe six years I love that service their courteous, kind, get you in and out as quick as possible so yes I recommend J-Ville in Norwood to anyone so in my book disestablishment will always get 5 stars and if you have not tried this restaurant yet you should do so you will never be disappointed but that's...
