Upon my arrival Katie, the receptionist was extremely welcoming & pleasant her customer service skills are outstanding in person and over the phone. “You Go Girl!”
Ms. Tonia B. is the OWNER she is very upbeat, friendly & personable, her service is impeccable to describe her in one word, PHENOMENAL!!!
“She was on go!” From the time I arrived till the time I departed. Meaning she was always on her feet interacting, not once did I see her sit down. I observed her interaction with her students as well as customers/clients her around the clock attentiveness was continuous. She checked in with her students & they continuously checked back in with her.
Ex. Student: “Tonia the hair is extremely mated, how should I remove this immense dandruff?” She responded with assertion & provided descriptive instructions.
Ms. Tonia B. is very hands-on with her students she redirected them when necessary and/or for clarity. I heard her tell one student remember “the three R’s,” as the students client waited to be serviced by the front desk. The statement was illuminating while impactful I thought it was imperative for good quality customer service & it will definitely keep us, the client returning for more services.
I bet you’re wondering what are the “3 R’s.” Sorry, I will not disclose them because I feel it is a violation of some what. Ms. Tonia B. may only provide this tip in class and/or during a teachable moment.
Her staff & her students are amazing. The energy & atmosphere is a reflection of Ms. Tonia B.’s energy it was such a pleasure being in such a positive environment.
I strongly believe, this group of future beautician’s are quite lucky to have such an amazing instructor. Ms. Tonia B. is a true professional, her radiation of positivity, awareness & self-confidence seamlessly shines throughout the institution and/or salon, her vibration draws an individual near. Anyone can tell & see that it is her passion & she truly enjoys her profession. She is TOTAL BEAUTY INSTITUTE!!!
It was such a pleasure to meet & greet with her. Although she was not my hair stylist she appears to conduct GRRREAT work.
Finally, I worked with Ebony ☺️ & she was such a joy to work with from beginning to end. However, I do not like the hair style my hair is in. Despite it my overall experience is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Ebony, thank you again!

It was a wonderful experience and I'm very pleased with my services. Evette provided Stellar service from start to finish. Her ability to follow instructions so we'll, let's me know she is going to make an amazing leader one day. Evette really is an asset to the TBI family and demonstrated excellent customer service skills. TBI provides such a family friendly atmosphere and a welcoming environment for everyone to learn. As a customer tip: please remember to pack your patience when you come because this is a learning environment, so additional time will be necessary. Owner steals tips from students, uses expired products and does not follow the correct procedures. They overprocess hair, students are teaching students and the owner the supposed “celebrity stylist” TONIA BELL only cares about money not quality and let’s students do whatever they please all products that they dip their hands in and apply to your hair they do that repeatedly with other clients and are spreading bacteria from scalp to scalp. She can’t keep any teachers because no one is willing to lose their license for the filthy and unorganized business that she is running. They do not clean rollers nor combs. There is mold in half of the chemicals and they scrape it off the top and continue using it on people’s hair. Considering majority of their clients are elderly the owner figures they won’t care or notice anyway.
