Unfortunately, everytime we try to make any type purchases from this place whether its online, in line, or drive thru its always a very big disappointment. Im not always the kind of person thats in favor of a business in our community closing. But as far as this one goes it has to be one of the worse businesses in our community that seems to be doing more harm than good in this area. Ive never seen a business thats poorly managed and supervised like this one. Its very saddening that we have a big company such as this one in our community that has such unbelievably negative operations as this one. I know as people we all go through things on a day to day basis and some days those days arent always our best days but for a company or franchise as big as this one to have so many negative outcomes damn near everyday is just a huge disappointment to me and other members of our community. The products and amenities that should be available to us as customers is very rarely available at all. Ive witnessed the drive thru option very poorly operated and supervised on several occasions so much so that the drive thru line is backed up onto Highway US1. Which is a very dangerous position for the customers to be in all because the employees seem to be unable to operate and organize in a timely manner this is a very big disappointment to our community and those persons whom thought that stopping at this particular location will or would operate as the other locations do. This restaurant is a very big disappointment to those customers whomever had the unfortunate opportunity to experience this disrespectful behavior and treatment from the staff at this location. I really hate to see our community being represented by a business that carries on this way and never seem to even attempt to make any professional changes to help our community. Unfortunately this restaurant doesnt have separate instructions for picking up online orders. At a certain time durning the course of their operation hours everyone is required to go through drive thru even if you are there to pickup online orders, which causes so much confusion between the other customers. On an everyday basis all the customers that are already in line to put their orders in then here comes a vehicle jumping in front of at least 5 other customers and vehicles so they can pickup their online orders and with their service being as bad as it is its not uncommon for a vehicle to have more than one order coming from that vehicle. And whats probably even more dangerous than anything is that the customers who are unable to afford a vehicle or a ride to this restaurant have to walk up there to place their orders or pick them up and they're unable to go inside the restaurant to pickup their order because the inside is locked and they won't allow anyone inside to pickup their food they have to go through the drive thru like everyone else which is by far dangerously life threatening, and on some levels disrespectful. On 3/28 I decided, knowingly I would be disappointed, to go get breakfast at this location at 5:45 AM. I pulled up less than a minute later, found the door locked, and there was 4 cars in the drive-thru. The last car was a bright yellow van.
I knew Hardees was down the road about less than a minute so I checked on my phone and saw they opened at 5 AM.
I drive the speed limit down there and there were 2 cars in front of me when I pulled up to the drive-thru. I ordered a sausage platter, which was more food than I was going to order from McDonalds, and when I pulled up there was a car pulled ahead waiting on their food with the customer at the window giving the money to the cashier then pulled off once they received their food. The car that was pulled ahead got their food shortly after the car inbetween us pulled off.
I pulled up, handed my money, sat about a minute or so then left. I was coming up to the light at the McDonalds and wondered how that four car line was: there was a car ahead of the taxi and I looked at my phone. It was 5:45
It took McDonalds over 10 minutes to handle 2 customer orders and each time I go inside on the weekend, customers are just ordering these stupid drinks that McDonalds are pushing rather than paying attention to declining quality and service of customers wanting food.
Stop trying to be a Starbucks.
I know Starbucks won't open up on Norwood and you're fitting that opportunity but 10 minutes for 2 cars for breakfast is pathetic. All I wanted was two damn sausage biscuits, a feat of breakfast engineering that McDonalds can't figure out.

Read moreThese ppl must be the rudest nastiest ppl on planet earth the front counter ppl on this morning 01/19, 2023 should never have been allowed to work the front counter the lady was so unfriendly that I took her actions to be very aggressive and hostile I said good morning to her she didn’t part her lips she never smiled and when I explained to her what I had ordered on the kiosk my total was very different from what she rang my order up at the front counter and when I told her that I didn’t want that she completely walked away and ignored me standing there then she told her team leader that I didn’t know what I wanted bc I had asked for a refund so I politely said that I knew what I wanted but I had saw something totally different when I totaled up my order while at the kiosk…. Howbout right behind me came a gentleman who ordered the exact same thing as I had ordered she rang him up and he to said no this is supposed to be a deal and I laughingly said yeah….. I thought the same thing and she jumped into my conversation talking bout we didn’t know what we wanted so I had to read her …..
