On Saturday October 1st I made an on-line/mobile order at the 649 McDuff ave Location in Jacksonville, Fl .... I made the on-line order due to negative past experiences with Popeyes...I've waited 30+ minutes waiting in line or the parking lot for an order because the mobile orders took precedence... Needless to say I've left popeyes very frustrated and upset on more than one occasion... "I would've been better off preparing my chicken at home " Is the way I felt to sum it up, vowing never to return and spend my hard earned money at such an establishment but as time would pass I'd decide to give Popeyes another chance only to be disappointed and reminding myself why I stayed away for so long... So on Oct 1 I decided to try Popeyes AGAIN by making a mobile order which was made at 4:49 Pm at the 649 McDuff ave location....
I waited 10 minutes before I left home to give your staff time to prepare the order. When I arrived the first of my frustrations began ,I waited about 7 minutes before anyone even acknowledge me to take my order...I informed the manager/ cashier that I made a mobile order and I was there to pick it up, she asked what was the name on the order I gave her the name and order number, which was 41.... she recalled an order that wasn't mine when I told her that was not the order I made she then sounded and appeared to be annoyed with me , sensing her frustration I told her " That's why I gave you a name and an order number." Then as luck would have it her computer restarted on its on so I had to wait an additional 5 minutes for it to reboot, then she saw the order I made.....
Now nearly 15 minutes of my time was wasted before they even started making my order which I placed 25 minutes prior mobily... So I waited another 15 minutes give or take for my order to be completed, I patiently waited even though i was slightly annoyed she gave me my chicken and fries and told me it would be 7 minutes before the "Mac-n-Cheese" would be ready,I told her I had to have it so I'd wait and I need fresh fries because the ones I have would be cold by then, upon double checking my order for accuracy the apple pie I ordered was not present, i mentioned this and she gave me a strawberry pie instead because the apple pies were out of stock.... which I gladly accepted without incident however another 10 minutes or so passed before she asked what I needed and I told her " I'm waiting for my Mac-n-Cheese" which really annoyed her, I was also VERY FRUSTRATED 🤬 ,she mumbled inaudible things I believe to be insults...She then tells me "that's why I added an extra fry to your bag" She attempted to shoo me off with a small bag of French fries because I'd have to wait 7 minutes...
I reminded her that I said I'd wait for the Mac-n-Cheese and I wanted fresh hot Fries. She angrily walked to the oven took out the Mac-n-Cheese scooped it into a container and hurried me off.... I had to watch her to make sure she didn't sabotage my order or poison me or my family because she was visibly upset. I never received my fresh fries,my chicken was cold.... After standing in Popeyes for nearly an hour after expecting to walk in and out I'd like a refund for this one purchase. I food was cold and my experience was...

Read moreI sat in the drive thru line, with only two cars in front of me, for 20+ mins. All the while witnessing employees moving in and out the restaurant doing absolutely nothing. I then decided to drive around and go inside to order. Upon entering, the putrid smell of the dinning area hit me like a ton of bricks. It reeked of spoiled food and trash. Dead flies were all over the window seals, chairs and tables. With only 2 customers ahead of me, I was able to place my order of 1 chicken wrap and a side of red beans and rice rather quickly. But, for some reason it still took nearly 30 mins for me to receive just these two items as customer after customer received their meals who ordered after me. I asked for a manager to discuss some sort of compensation for the lack of customer service and extended wait time. I was met by an individual who claimed to be the “manager” (of whom I will post photos) but refused to provide his name or a legit number for corporate. He only offered a refund or the option to cover my next meal when I return.. which given the condition of the restaurant, I had no intentions of EVER returning. He then accused me of just wanting free food and called me “one of those”, not realizing that what I would order, if I did return, would cost more than the one wrap and side that I ordered that day. He then proceeded to aggressively snatch back my bag of food and print out an illegible receipt, because their printer was low on ink. When asked his name, he insisted it was printed on the bottom of the receipt.. It was not. He then instructed other employees “not to engage” with me . The entire situation was horribly mishandled....
