Maybe the best sandwiches in town, certainly the best dessert bars. Choose from your southern favorites, egg salad, chicken salad, corned beef hash, hot dog, ham salad and even PBJ.
Know the rules, come in step to the left and get in line. Take the time in line to figure out what you want on the menu because when you get to the counter you need to order. Once you order, step to the right and moments later - viola- you will walk away with a mighty fine sandwich.
Tip: Choose one of the dessert bars on the counter. I am not ever sure what it is, but it sure is good.

Six months ago, my boss brought me food back from Russ-Doe's for lunch one day. From what I remember, it was good! All this time later, I decided to visit the location for myself. The food was soooo good... I came back the NEXT day and ordered the SAME thing I had ordered the prior day!!!
I met "Mr. Russ-Doe" (as I lovingly call him) as soon as I walked in, and we've been best buds ever since!

(Rider) I went today and was a bit nervous since they close at 1:30 and it was 1:20 when I arrived. The place was still bustling with people and workers. I ordered the Russ-Doe's Special Rider. So good! Pita stuffed with well-seasoned ground beef, lettuce, tomato and mayo. The pita was soft and fresh, and the meat was fresh and well seasoned.
