Rave: My family and I were just passing thru JVille and decided to stop in for lunch today Monday July 29 around 2:30pm. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server was Gabriella. She was really sweet and on top of everything we needed. They made some changes for my hubby chicken sandwich because he's a picky eater. He said it was really good. I had soup and salad bar (unlimited salad), our daughter had the chicken tender and fries. Everything was yummy.
Rant:
There's was an old couple there who were extremely rude and degrading to this poor girl for no reason. The man wanted more fries and said his were all mushy. Guys his plate was empty. He ate it all and wanted more fries, she was sweet and tried to apologize and basically saying I can't just give it to you......he then got louder and nasty and his mean wife joined in berating her, she went to get a manager. The the old man got loud and rude to him too, and the manager was like I am not a child ypu will not talk to me like that and what kind of person are you to talk in such a way about a 19 year old girl. I applaud him for standing up to this old mean guy. The couple then pay for their check and stiff the girl on a tip because she followed the policy. Said they were gonna be Karen and call corporate. Ugly mean people.
If you can't be kind to people, just don't go out. It hurt my heart to see her go thru thar as I sit with my hubz and my 6 year old daughter, all I could think is I wish someone would talk to my kid like that.
I went on after they left, called her over and told her she did nothing wrong and to take some deep breaths. There's some things out of our control. You can't control the fact that he is miserable, just don't let him...

Today Aug. 25th was a SPECIAL day to me. It is/would have been my Mama's 79th Birthday. So in memory of her I did something we would have done together. I introduced her to St. Mary's Seafood and she loved it! She even celebrated her 70th BIRTHDAY @SMS. So today I was greeted warmly by a young man named Zack, shared a little bit about my day. And his warm Smile, thoughtful words and expression of empathy was AMAZING! He then shared with me TODAY was also his Grandmother's Birthday too. I Smiled immediately 😁. He offered me something to drink. Water was my choice it was perfect with a lemon just like I like it! He took my order returned I paid. To keep from shedding tears..we both were in agreement that Mama and Grandma were Rejoicing in Heaven on their BIRTHDAY's. And they know we miss and Love them FOREVER ❤❤. My food and Arnold Palmer was excellent! God is AMAZING he knew what Zack and I needed. Thank You Zack you made my Day on my Mama's and your Grandmama's Birthday ❤❤.
