Using the Subway app in Jacksonville FL was the worst food ordering experience I ever had. They took my money and refused to give me my sandwich. I have reported Subway to American Express and Subway corporate.
I ordered through the Subway app which 14070 Beach Blvd is supposed to take. The sandwich maker/cashier said she never heard of a Subway app. Showed her the emailed receipt with confirmation number. She called her manager and the both of them were yelling at me on how they 'don't take no app and what do I want to do about it,' I said I just want the sandwich I paid for and the cashier grabbed that as I tried to explain that their store had been paid. The cashier and her manager discussed calling the police because I was arguing for the food I paid for! This is complete fraud and they literally thought I was dumb enough to pay twice! They know what the Subway app is. Their store's location is listed on the Subway app. I called American Express and filed a complaint to get a refund. DO NOT go to this location. After what I went through I would never want them touching food I had to eat. The sandwich maker was the nastiest and most incompetent food service worker I have ever met. How do you work at Subway and say you know nothing about their app? This is called double billing - first you take the app money and then you think I’m stupid enough to hand you my credit card and pay twice. They probably do this all day long and people...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE I just visited this location last night 5/3/24 about 20 minutes before they are scheduled to close. As soon as I entered the store the young man turned off the lights inside the store. He didn’t greet me even after I greeted him and asked him how he was doing? I proceeded to tell him what sandwich I wanted and how I wanted it made. I could barely see bc I’m already half blind and once again he decided to turn off the lights when I entered the restaurant Im sure so no one else would enter the restaurant. I decided not to get the sub for a couple reasons 1) according to the young man the restaurant was out of cucumbers I was getting a veggie sandwich I really wanted cucumbers 2) from the time I walked into the restaurant his energy was just awful. He didn’t say anything rude he actually didn’t say anything at all he just turned off the store lights. I know at the end of your shift you are feeling antsy and ready to go home but until you are off the clock you are getting paid to do a job… so do it!!! The Subway on Old Kings Rd you can walk in that store 5 minutes before they are scheduled to close and you will still be greeted, and treated with respect and a smile. When I told the young man okay nvm I don’t want the sandwich he told me I still have to sell this sandwich 🤔 well you better get to selling buddy. This store needs a lot of customer service etiquette. *DO...
Read moreWhen I went in there were two ladies infront of me and only one guy working, who was obviously very new. I waited about 10 minutes for him to get done with one customer and the elderly lady infont of me was asking if he could try to go a little faster once she started ordering because she had been waiting for almost 30 minutes at that point. He said he was new and alone and didn't really know what he was doing which i can understand but then he freaked out and said he was closing the store (which it's about 3:00 in the afternoon?) and told me and the two other people to get out and then started screaming 'get the f out, i'm calling the cops if you don't leave, im quitting' and things of that nature. And the lady asked if he could finish her sandwich since it was half made and he told her he was going to call the cops on her. This place needs to train their employees better and not leave people all by themsleves to run the store when they can't even figure out how to...
