This place is great….if you are looking for a way to put as much cream cheese as physically possible in your mouth at one time.
Don’t get me wrong, their cream cheese flavors are amazing and taste fresh and delicious. The bagels are pretty good and on par with what a NY bagel is supposed to taste and feel like. BUT. I honestly have no idea how these guys are making any money since they put literally 8 oz of cream cheese on every order.
You can see in the photos I was able to scrape off nearly 75% of the cream cheese on both of our orders and still have plenty on my actual bagel. It’s wasteful and I don’t see how anyone could actually eat that much cream cheese on a bagel and enjoy it.
Another thing, they don’t wrap your bagels in foil so even a ten minute drive home with your food, your freshly toasted warm bagel will be cooled down enough by the massive amounts of cold cream cheese on it, that it tastes old by the time you eat it.
This place has so much potential to hit the mark but they are disappointing in those two ways in my opinion. The bagels are fluffy and delicious but the spotlight is stolen from how good they could be by the excessive cream cheese and disappointing packaging.
Our order today was a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel, a sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel (which both tasted great), a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese and an Asiago bagel with chive and onion cream cheese, 3 cold drinks and the total came to...

So heard from a co worker named Busta Busta from South Florida that this new Bagel place was legit and can handle custom bagel creations. So I went Sunday morning around 9:20 and there was a small line to get in the door! A very good sign. Had nice chats with different people and saw others recognize each other but not the local feel I missed but it is bigger, cleaner and more efficient. It was chaotic once inside, phone ringing with people calling in orders to pick up (Genuis idea, pre pay credit card only...speed up process and not have to stand in line to pay for phone in/pick up orders. Next location should have a drive thru as well.
Finally time to place the order for the bagel creation that took years of trial and error and scathing glares from Rachel to accomplish: Everything Bagel, toasted, open face, light Lox smear, bacon, sliced tomato with sprouts, light salt and pepper on tomato. What I got was an abomination to original and while filling, the half inch plus lox spread was a tad much. They made up for it with bacon, then added more bacon. A+ for effort.

Read moreI don’t like leaving bad reviews, however, in the past two weeks my bagel has not be cut in half twice. I know it seems small and insignificant, but when you’ve been coming to this establishment for two years you expect what you’ve always gotten. I normally went to Beach Blvd, but since Jax beach opened I go there. The woman in question who does not cut bagels works Wednesday mornings and has dark brown hair. I always get a garlic bagel toasted with plain cream cheese. I know this location is new, but it happening more than once makes me not want to come back, however, it’s more convenient for me than driving to Beach. I’m only recommending because the bagels are good (not the best I’ve ever had, but good - also always way to much cream cheese, but when I say light cream cheese they barely put any on. Can there be a middle?) and 9/10 times I have a good experience. I guess I will always ask to have my bagel cut (even though I’m told that’s what they do when I do mention it.....). Maybe train the girl in question more? I don’t want her in trouble, I just want my bagels cut without asking. I felt horrible that they had to remake my bagel today over that, and I can tell the other employees were annoyed that it wasn’t cut in the...
