This place is AMAZING! I am Caribbean and this is the only Jamacian/Caribbean restaurant that I will eat from. The prices are good and the portions are healthy. I love the porridge and will purchase the large so that I can enjoy it during the week, as they only make it on Sundays. The sweet tea is absolutely addicting! My favorite is the oxtail, soooo tender and favorable. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you're looking for authentic food this IS the place. They also sell spices and other items such as candied tamarind that are difficult to find. Dine-in, take- out, drive- thru. They stay pretty busy during peak times, so I usually order ahead, they always ask when do I want to pick it and it's always ready. Where should I start, the lady that took our order was very rude with an attitude as if she didn’t want to be at work. We received our food and the rice and beans was soggy and had red kidney beans and black beans, that’s a first for Caribbean “rice and peas” the salt fish tasted like it was a week old it was tough and nasty. I didn’t even taste the cabbage which looked old and brown. $14 for nastiness and attitude. My coworker ordered goat and the goat did not have any type of flavor her rice was nasty and soggy and her one boiled dumplin was not cook thoroughly, the middle was still raw.
