The cake was very pretty and decorated nicely. However, the taste was not good. The cake had a cornbread type texture and the buttercream icing was overly sweet and paste like. For 50.00 I expected the taste to match the appear ance. PLEASE read update: Update: I stopped in as requested and spoke to Mark and he would NOT make it right so if he offers that please do not.believe it! All he did was argue with me.about that the 50.00 I paid was too low and that it should have been $100 and why did I wait so long to post the review from May 27th?! He continued to argue with me and finally I asked why did u ask me to come in and offer to make things right when u r obviously not willing to do that and he said I offered u a coupon and I said why would I want a coupon when I didn't like your cake.and I am a diabetic? It was a birthday cake and it was terrible and it ruined the.party but he would NOT make it right! I even offered to accept only a partial refund.and he belligerently replied that I had already paid 50.00 too less! I finally said I would return to getting my cakes at Publix, and he said I am not Publix, and I replied no, you are not, because they back their products up! Stay FAR away from this store and this rude and aggressive owner! Quite demeaning and dismissive...
Read moreI stopped here one afternoon a week ago and ordered a piece of the coconut cake. It went very well with coffee. This morning (Friday, December 13, 2024) I decided to stop by to pick-up more pieces of cakes for an afternoon gathering with friends. Even though the Google hours indicate the bakery is open at 9:00 am, the shades were drawn and the bakery was closed when I pulled up at 9:20 am. I made my way southward on San Jose Blvd. to "Nothing Bundt Cakes". They received a very sizable order and I, in turn, received very...
Read moreMy daughter's only special food request for her high-school graduation party was brownies, so it was important to me that they were especially delicious! I ordered 120 traditional chocolate brownie bites (30 regular brownies quartered) and 30 chocolate chip cookies, totaling $150. I placed my order over the phone 2 weeks in advance (the bakery team was super helpful with answering all of my questions and making recommendations at my request). No deposit required and I paid in full for the order upon pick-up. Everything was packaged so nicely (including the brownie bites in small paper cups like a reeses), boxed/wrapped for safely transporting in a vehicle, and were absolutely delicious! Many, many compliments from guests and NOT ONE brownie bite or cookie was left over
