Cowfeathers — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Cowfeathers has replaced DoorDash for us! Since covid, we have indulged in convenience of food delivery. We never expected to find a replacement… although one day when my husband was dropping off our dry cleaning he came home with some meals from Cowfeathers… needless to say we have been hooked since. “Chef prepared meals” is an understatement! We are blown away every time. The portions are so good we are lucky if we finish a meal fully. We have tried “meal prep” locations in the past but they cannot hold a candle to Cowfeathers. We look forward to the weekly menu as it is constantly changing. We never feel like we are at the same place twice! Some signature favorites include Chicken enchiladas, everything deviled eggs, & chicken salad!

We recently had them cater an event for us and they knocked it out of the park! Our friends were dying to know where we went and made us look like rockstar hosts. We are loyal customers for life!!! Thank you Cowfeathers for your amazing food.

Edit to previous review: I really hate doing this but I do have to take a moment to be honest. The first time I got food from Cowfeathers, it was really great. The second time I got food from them, it was not edible. I ordered the stuffed chicken breast, and it was cooked beyond the point of consumption. It was too tough to be chewed and had a crunch to it. The mashed potatoes didn't have much flavor to them. The red potatoes were okay. Since the chicken was supposed to be the actual entree, I had to more or less forgo dinner, and so did my guest, which was quite embarrassing. I would have given them another shot if the food was not great but edible. Since the quality of the food was so poor, and my schedule is far too busy to take the risk of another inedible meal, I won't be returning. We have been using Cowfeathers since February almost weekly and it has been amazing. We previously had used the Medure Brothers’ catered food for holidays and how we learned about their new venture with the prepped weekly meals. It is so easy to reheat and tastes as if it was just made (and better than if I had home cooked a meal). They have new options added weekly so there is plenty of variety which is nice. It has been so helpful to have delicious and healthy food that is fresh -that only requires heating in the oven for our entire family. It really helps on those busy week nights getting kids to activities but still having something nutritious ready to go. We have tried other meal prep services in the past (local and national based) and those do not compare - this is a whole other caliber. I highly recommend and am so happy Cowfeathers came...
