From the moment you step into the Clove Hitch Beer Company, you’re enveloped in a warmth that goes beyond the pleasing temperature. This place is a haven for beer enthusiasts and newcomers alike, offering a carefully curated list of beers that impress with their variety and quality.

The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between cozy and lively. It’s impeccably clean, and the decor is a feast for the eyes – an eclectic mix of cool, interesting items that spark conversation and admiration. Every corner has a story, and the overall vibe is welcoming and relaxed.

Now, the beer! Each offering on their extensive list is a testament to their commitment to quality and diversity. Whether you’re a fan of hoppy IPAs, rich stouts, or something light and crisp, there’s a brew here that will hit the spot. The beers are served at the perfect temperature, ensuring each sip is as refreshing as the last.

What really sets Clove Hitch apart, though, is the overall experience. It’s not just a place to grab a beer; it’s a place to unwind, meet friendly faces, and enjoy a moment of respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

In summary, Clove Hitch Beer Company is more than just a brewery – it’s a destination. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great beer in a...

I visit Jacksonville several times per year from San Diego. My daughter and family reside on Camp Lejeune. We were excited when this place opened up a few weeks ago. It fills a glaring need for a craft beer pub in Jacksonville. This town had none. I come from an area that has literally hundreds of them.

My daughter is a craft beer enthusiast and she will likely be visiting this place more often than I am since she lives here, but I thought it would be helpful to leave my thoughts. I like the atmosphere and the decor. The beer selection is a good start, but can use a few beers from the west coast to add variety. I'd be more than willing to offer some suggestions. 😉

My only real "complaint" is that my 63-year-old eyes had a hard time reading the very small print on the very small beer menu. They also had no large over-the-bar beer menu...common where I come from....which enables you to view the beer list from across the room. So my primary suggestion would be to offer a slightly larger beer menu with larger font size so folks like me can read...

I have been to the establishment for several casual work get togethers and have enjoyed myself each time. The place has a great selection of reasonably priced beers, including NA options. The atmosphere is comfortable. Most importantly the staff and owner were very friendly and proffessional. Definitely will be back and highly recommend to others!

Side note: I have heard they are planning on opening a burger place in the building, hopefully the health department stops slow rolling and picks up the pace on its approval. There is no doubt that it will be a great...

This is an awesome spot with a great atmosphere and a fantastic selection. The owner Kevin knows what a good beer tastes like, it’s undeniable, his local NC selection was spot on. The clove hitch doesn’t sell their own food but they do share a doorway with a bomb ramen spot so food is available. This is exactly what downtown Jacksonville needed. I could not recommend this spot anymore than I already am!!! Get there!
