We went to Tony's pizza because I was craving a New York pizza. Also, it's pretty close to The Uptown and we didn't want to go far. We went in on a week night. It was crowded, but the atmosphere was great! I saw black & white cookies and got excited. They also had tiramisu. This was before we were even seated so I was getting hungry! We were excited as we were seated. The servers were great so far. Suddenly we got a male server who walked up and without even looking at us asked what we wanted. We ordered. We asked questions about the food. He seemed angry or insulted by each question. I couldn't understand why he was acting like that. We waited for about 25 minutes. He seemed to avoid our table. We definitely noticed that he went out of his way to help other customers and we saw that he was able to be cordial and even friendly to them. We were confused and growing more hungry. Finally, my fiance got up to ask if we could change our order to a to-go order. He came back and explained to me that he overheard our server insulting him to the crew in the back. The server came up behind me and interrupted him to explain that he was talking about his children who were working in the back. I noticed that he had switched back to being rude and had not offered an apology as of yet. We asked if we could just pay for our drinks and leave. The female server that seated us said that we could just leave. We ended up doing a 'walk of shame" and had no idea why. I am really hurt by the entire ordeal. I was really craving some great...
Read moreI’m not one to usually write bad reviews, but I am tonight. I went to eat at Tony D’s alone and was greeted very pleasantly by the hostess. She led me to my table and offered to get me a drink and some garlic knots. My server came over around five minutes later and I ordered my meal. I got a Caesar salad as my salad choice that came with the meal and when my salad came, the dressing it came with on the side wasn’t enough to cover my salad completely. It was pretty dry. I asked the sweet host when she was at my table if there was a way to get just a little more dressing on the side. She was so friendly and so kind! My server brought me the dressing in a larger container and I certainly didn’t need that much dressing for my side salad. The meal itself was good. The ingredients were fresh and it had a great flavor. My server was polite but the real issue I have is when my bill came. I was charged an additional $.75 for my Caesar salad and $.50 for the extra dressing. No one made me aware of these extra charges. If someone would have informed me and asked if I still wanted those items I would have politely declined. Communication is super important and the lack of it tonight is just so upsetting. It’s the principal behind the cost, not the cost itself. Had I known ahead of time that I would have been nickel and dimed, I would have taken my business elsewhere. Please as an establishment, communicate and get permission from guests. Be transparent. If the whole extra charge fiasco wouldn’t have occurred, I would have...

I recently visited Tony D's pizzeria with high hopes, but sadly, my experience left much to be desired. From the moment I stepped in, it became evident that the establishment had a serious issue with wait time and service.
First and foremost, the wait time was absolutely ridiculous. Despite arriving during off-peak hours, I found myself waiting endlessly for a table. The staff seemed disorganized and overwhelmed, paying little attention to the customers who were eagerly waiting. The lack of a clear waiting system only added to the chaos, leaving us frustrated and wondering if we would ever be seated with the endless wait times.
Once we were finally seated, the disappointment continued. The service was nothing short of abysmal. The waitstaff appeared indifferent and uninterested in providing even basic customer service. They rarely checked on us, and when they did, it was with a rushed and dismissive attitude. We had to repeatedly flag them down just to place our order or request simple condiments.
Overall, Tony D's pizzeria was a letdown on multiple levels. The frustratingly long wait time, coupled with the disinterested and neglectful service, made for an unpleasant dining experience. I had hoped to enjoy a delicious pizza, but instead, I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I cannot recommend Tony D's to anyone seeking a pleasant...
