I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN NJ. I KNOW MY PIZZA, SAUCE, AND TOPPIMGS. I am going to start with the positive. The crust/bread was outstanding. I did not received the pizza that I ordered nor did they offer to add the extra cheese to it. The kicker is I ordered the deluxe (L) with extra cheese, minus the olives, and add spinach on half. She failed to inform that although I subtracted the olives I would still be paying for it; while at the same time, I would incur an additional $3.00 upcharge for spinach although I only requested it on half of the pie. She took off $1.00 for the missing extra cheese and had the nerve to tell me after the fact about me paying for a whole add on althought it was only half. I was extremely unsettled about the failure to properly communicate nor offer a feasable solution for not receiving the pizza that I ordered.
The Toppings were not evenly spread out on the pie. The only difference should have been spinach on one side. You can clearly see that did not happen. It was unacceptable to see my toppings just thrown on one side of the pie. I didnt even have onions on my side. I had to pick through the dry, cheeseless pie to get a decent flavorful slice. Who eats a pie like this? NOT I SAID THE CAT. NOT I SAID THE MOUSE. NOT I SAID ROAST BEEF.
CONCLUSION
Please allow me to reiterate in NJ Terms. I saw you peek down and look at me to see my facial expression when the waitress told me you forgot to add the extra cheese. What spineless of a man you are. You made the mistake and chose to hide behind the counter and look scared. Toppings are $3.00....for a whole or half. MAKE THAT KNOWN. $1.00 FOR EXTRA CHEESE??? CHEESE COSTS MORE THAN SPINACH.
I dont know if I will drive so far to try you a second time because of the low ball service I received and the failure to apologize and attempt to make things right.
I tip very well. The tip was only $8 and some change this time.
Signed,
An unsatisfied customer from NJ. You cannot just throw me anything an expect me to accept it. This was NOT worth the $46 I paid.
For a third time: I DID NOT RECEIVED WHAT I ORDERED NOR PAID FOR.
Try that on someone from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will say I wanted to try the food, because I wanted to try a canoli. I wanted to order a large cheese pizza and wings. When I was given the total 40 something I asked why. The young lady said for garlic knots I tried explaining I don't want garlic knots I was asking if they had cups of garlic butter for dipping and seems to me their is alittle language barrier, not a problem but when you see an owner come on here to reply back could be alittle nicer. I know how Italians can have a temper but I have a buddy who owned an Italian restaurant but never talked down to people who rated him badly. You apologize for the bad experience and move on if you're going to go on here and be rude to people who rate you low those who come to your restaurant based off reviews won't come their. Especially now we are in tough times so everyone is on the edge I feel but no reason to talk down to customers should be careful someone might not be so nice and just go straight to the bbb. Your restaurant has good rating 4.5 there are restaurants that have worse ratings than this and i don't see all of them talking to customers the way the owner does. Very discouraging as a new customer to see how someone gets talked to for voicing how they feel about the level of service they recieve if this was my restaurant I would do what I could do to make them happy bad reviews lowers the chance of new happy customers seeing this makes people not way to try the food because if their is an issue with the food and service the customer is going to think off the rip that they can't call or anything to explain the issue because the owner will just say what they can to discredit the customer. I know the saying goes in most places the customer always right but hey that's not always correct at times, but i wouldnt come here to show potential new customers and current customers on how you talk to people when they have an issue with your restaurant. I'm sure you're food is good but customer service could be alittle better is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVitoās is our favorite Italian Restaurant by far. We love the freshness and zesty flavor of all the fantastic dishes. We also like to support local family-owned businesses. For a complete dining experience, itās 50% food and 50% service. Unfortunately, on my last visit I had the absolute worst service Iāve ever had. The server took my order and brought me my drink and then I never saw her again until it was time for the check. One of the chefs had to bring me my spaghetti with meatballs to my table because she disapeared. Luckily, Gabby had just clocked in and brought me my salad & garlic bread, but she was not my assigned server. In our opinion, Gabby is the best by far (very attentive). However, the entire time I never received any utensils to eat! I presumed that she would come by and ask why I wasnāt eating. So I sat there for 30min just looking around watching her but she never came by. Since it was 4:30pm, there were still many open tablesānot busy at all. I donāt understand why she never came back to check on me or even offer me a refill or bring utensils. Nothing at all. After 30min she finally came by with the bill and asked how everything was. I told her that I donāt know as I was not able to eat my food, which was now cold. So I told her to bring me a box. I have never experienced that kind of behavior anywhere. Iāve had bad service, but this time it was zero service. I donāt like to bash businesses, but this experience needed to be mentioned so that you know and can provide more training to that server. Perhaps she ought to follow and watch Gabby do her magic and fantastic service. Not sure when Iāll be back as I was so upset and...
